So it’s Hibs and Dundee in for him. Murray wants a 3 year deal, Dundee offering him that. Do you think we should have matched it? Or bettered it?

Regardless of whether you rate him or not pretty sure Hibs not signing Simon Murray isn't due to "lack of ambition."

Still plenty time in the window left, Murray doesn't really suit what Hibs plans are, not exactly someone we are going to sell on eventually for a profit.

He’s a 32 year old centre forward and Dundee have given him a 3 yr deal. No chance he was getting that here and rightly so.

Exactly that. Year deal, understandable for the club, but I can see why SM has gone to Dundee with 3 years on the table.

Yes who knows was only agent taking up and good luck to him for getting a good deal. He'll be No1 striker at his home team. Like others said wasn't worth 3 year deal

Wasn't good enough first time around and hardly think he has improved much since then, albeit had a good season last year. If we are losing our s*** over a 32 year old with 16 goals in 51 games for county in the league need to have a look at ourselves. If he was available on a free yes maybe would have had him as a squad player but if we want to be competing for third alot more is required.
