The obvious answers include Yamal, Williams and Olmo from Spain - not just for tonight. Saliba for France, along with his CB partner. Cody Gapko has been good also for Netherlands. Been a few others from less "glamorous" nations.

Spain look the best attacking team by a fair bit 👏 Guess they are also blessed with the likes of Rodri to shore things up, too

I haven't watched too many games but the biggest stand out for me is the refs and VAR. They are in a completely different league to what we are subjected to. Most of the football is typical modern football, boring so I only watch if nothing else on or if I have an interest. Admittedly that means I have watched all the Scotland and England games so not exactly riveting

Has to be either Yamal, Rodri or Nico Williams for me. Excellent in every game they've played. How Jude Bellingham is amongst the favourites in the betting for player of the tournament is beyond me, he's been rank in most of their games.

I think Morata as had a good tournament and was excellent tonight. Team player .

I've not been as impressed as others with the Euros, but Spain have been just about the best of the lot so hey ho.As far as individual players go I was really impressed with the Georgian guy up front, and liked how Turkey adopted their don't give a **** attitude and gave it a go against whoever they were playing.

Did you see him take a dull one after the game? Hard to see exactly what happened - a few photographers rushing in, a fan trying to take a selfie and (I think) a security guard losing his footing as he got in to try and stop them... leaving Morata limping quite heavily after being thumped on his right knee.

It'll be a big deal if he ends up missing the final as a result of all of that.

No i must have missed that , it would be sickening for him to miss the final due to a injury picked after the games finished for something stupid .

Bellingham for the bravery of the first goal and the genius of the second.

His self entitled arrogance as expected is beginning to surface but a midfield player who can change a game in an instance can make a huge difference and he will take his country close.

Very close.🤔

A midfielder that plays well for 90 minutes is much more valuable, and he's been largely poor. Not even been England's best player.

The Turkish pair, Guler and Yilmaz look decent, Kvaratskhelia for Georgia, Baumgartner for the Swiss, Gakpo for Hollland, Musiala for Germany.
Saka been Englands best player I think.

Think this guy deserves a mention for probably the best save of the tournament...

John Stones was Englands best player imo.

The overall poor standard of football and large number of boring games have been the two biggest standouts for me.

Oh and Scotland managing to be the worst team in the tournament.

John Stones was Englands best player imo.

I think Pickford, Stones, Rice, Saka and Mainoo all had varying degrees of decent tournaments.

007 Phil Foden has his second dreadful Euros in a row.

FWIW, I don't see how anybody could suggest sacking Southgate now.

As boring as their games might have been, he took them incredibly close to winning it.

England fans are too daft to realise they are slap bang in the middle of their golden generation. The best period in England history. Two Euro finals in a row. Unheard of. Sacking him would surely be madness.

I’m not sure he’ll want to stay on

Not sure it would be madness.

As you said, they’re in the middle of their golden generation. The World Cup will be their last chance with guys like Walker, Stones and Kane involved (although Walker may call it a day before that). Southgate has done well overall, but he appears unable to push them on to take that final step that their squad should probably be capable of.

I think a change in manager could well give them a better chance of winning a trophy.

Thought Rice was decent without being his excellent best.

Bellingham and Kane both poor. Kane especially been so good for them in tournaments, I was surprised.

Has to be the last England game for Walker last night. Was sloppy all tournament.

Southgate needs to apologise to Ben White, pray Reece James stays fit or actually trust Trent.

Saw someone suggesting Bellingham needs to be more trusting of his team mates. Tries to do far too much on his own. Don’t think it’s far off the mark. Think the hype went to his head a wee bit and he thought he’d be a one man team carrying them to glory.

Bellingham for all the hype he gets didn't do enough in the tournament imo .

Rice I thought at times was just ok though I've seen him play alot better.

Kane looked like he had lost a yard of pace in the tournament.

Last night's final is were you want your key players to step up and none of them really did .

From an English point of view imo their main players didn't really click in the tournament just like their team .

If they had been in the other half of the draw I don't think they wouldn't have made the final .

Quite the generalisation about England fans' intelligence. I imagine the only (arguably) justified gripe they have is that with the talent at their disposal they've fallen just short of getting their name on a trophy.

I doubt Southgate would get sacked. Much more likely he'll feel he's taken them as far as he can and step down. He's been in the job a long time compared to most international managers and if he's going to go he'd want his successor to be in place for the start of the World Cup qualifiers.

They were up against a better team but were 4 minutes away from extra time and even then Spain had a great piece of goalmouth defending to keep their lead.

Thought Bellingham went down far too easy on many occassions this tourney. Last night I counted 4 when he,d no chance of getting the ball he,d go down. Twice the ref played on, after the 3rd he should have been booked for persistent diving. Can become a great player but needs to stop that nonsense. Also thought the ref had a good game apart from that.

No any English players for sure, Stones done alright, but so many others with almost the entire Spain team ahead of the rest.

On the other hand, you could say England have benefitted from piss easy draws in three of the last four tournaments, and wasted the opportunities with negative football eventually proving to be their undoing on all three occasions.
