Went in to see the club shop stuff this morning on my way to a meeting. Albion Road has had pavement widened/road narrowed at the junction with Albion Place. In front of the old Albion Bar and the church the pavement is now projecting into road - obviously a traffic calming measure. Will mean folk standing selling scarves etc will be in much bigger space.

With the temp lights in place just now its certainly made the road safer to drive the past few weeks. Before that its been pretty dangerous at the bend between the shop and ticket office since the pavement parking bans. Not sure if there have been any accidents, but a miracle if not. Double yellows are whats needed along there.

Anyone who parks their car on that corner is asking for it to be written off.
Someone's going to get seriously hurt with a head on collision because of the parking I think.

Is it people parking there to avoid the permits now in place both sides of Albion Road? St Clair Street seemed mobbed too...

That’s exactly what it is. It’s rammed until about 6pm at night.

I don’t understand why anyone would park on that corner tbh, there is bound to be an accident at some point.

The s bend at the FF is dangerous now judging by the parking I saw today. Folk have to be daft thinking parking there is okay. Double yellows on the s bend bound to be incoming...

You’d think but it’s been like that for a year now.
