For anyone that’s missed it.

I know you shouldn’t get excited but these type of things but it’s hard not to.

Telling Newell to take less touches
Telling the forwards to play quicker and with more intensity/pace

Then there’s Gray actually actually coaching and explaining it to players and why they’re doing it

Posted it in the Gray and MacKay thread but definitely deserves highlighted.

I completely agree and was really impressed with it. Everything seems to be coming together and I’m honestly buzzing to see what Gray can do. Even the taking Harbottle to the side right at the end and passing on his own experience to help the player. Love it.

Add in a few more signings, cannot wait.

And if you watch the highlights of Paok game you can see players trying to apply the learning from the coaching which is a real positive.

He's got a presence anyway. After initially being really sceptical about him getting the job I'm now really excited.

Interesting one of the drills was focusing on playing a back three with quick transition into attack. Like these drills where they are competitive. The first drill the ball retention in the box was poor. Enjoy watching that sort of thing.

Good listen. I think he is a far clearer more direct communicator than we had previously.

Can only see him continuing to grow into the role and nice to have a Hibs manager who's interviews I look out for again.

Have to admit wasn’t fully behind him getting the job but the more I see of him am beginning to warm to him. Was really hard to judge him on his several caretaker games but I think we may now be beginning to see the real SDG. Hopefully we may just have appointed a winner here! Time will tell.

I wouldn't argue with you there , Gray comes across very well when doing interviews.
