With some of the draws now out, here is how it stands so far for each club.

Celtic - Under the new Champions league format they will enter the groups stages and play 8 different teams, 4 home, 4 away. This draw for this isn’t until the 29th August.

Rangers - They will enter the 3rd qualifying round of the CL. Draw is on July 22nd the two leg matches are from 6th August - 13th August. If they win this they enter the play offs drawn 5th of August and played between 20th - 28th August. If they win this they are in the same situation as Celtic. Rangers are seeded for both rounds.

Hopefully someone else can clarify but I think if Rangers lose the 3rd qualifying round they enter the Europa league qualifier play of round and become in the same situation as Hearts. If there lose the Champions league play off round they enter the Europa League group stages.

Hearts - Enter the Europa League play off round, seeding not yet determined. The draw is on the 5th of August and games are between 22nd - 29th august. Win and they have Europa League group stage football, lose and they have conference league group stage football.

Kilmarnock- Enter the Europa League 2nd qualifying round where they have been drawn against Cercle Brugge who came 4th in the Belgium League. Games to be played on 25th July and 1st August.

Win this and they progress to the 3rd Qualifying round drawn on 22nd July and will be unseeded. Make it through this and they are in the same situation as Hearts. Lose their first games and I’m not sure if they drop to conference league or not although i assume they do?

St Mirren - Enter the conference league qualifying round 2 (same as us last season) where they will play the winner of Valur and Vllaznia (2nd place Icelandic and 3rd place Albanian teams). Win that and they have another 2 rounds to the groups.

I must admit I’m a bit jealous Hibs are not there, especially with the drop down safety net that Hearts and Killi have if they lose games. Hopefully we can take advantage of our competitors busy schedules to make sure we’re in the mix next time.

According to this Rangers would go straight into the EL groups if they lose in either the third qualifying round or the play-off round: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024%E2%80%9325_UEFA_Champions_League_qualifying_p hase_and_play-off_round#League_Path

Yes, according to Wiki they'd drop into the third qualifying round of the Conference League: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024%E2%80%9325_UEFA_Europa_League_qualifying_phas e_and_play-off_round#Teams

agree, "Losers of second qualifying round enter Conference League third qualifying round (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024%E2%80%9325_UEFA_Conference_League_qualifying_ phase_and_play-off_round#Third_qualifying_round)"

I 'think' unlike Hearts this is Killies only parachute - they'd have to win Conference 3rd round and the play off for guaranteed group stage football - lose either tie and their Euro trip is over for this season.

Not quite, if they win their second and third round EL qualifiers then they'd be in the EL play-off round, which means EL groups if you win and ECL groups if you lose (as the OP says, at that point they'd be in the same situation as Hearts.

In the route you describe (lose in either second or third round of EL qualifying and drop into ECL qualifying) they would need to win all of their subsequent qualifying/play-off games to make it to the groups.
