My personal thoughts are that I’m delighted to keep hold of our better players such as him and Boyle.

Makes sense to build around those types but then again some might question their commitment and attitude to the cause.

My thoughts were that the "reported £2.5m" sounded like a new way of us reporting things. We now seem to feel the need to report the highest a fee could possibly be if all clauses are met rather than the minimum with possible add ons.

I don't see any way Youan is playing for us next season and if there is a bit of interest then fair play to Hibs for trying to maximise what they make on him.

My point is that the club in question have the whole of the upcoming transfer window to arrange a medical, so why pull out a 'deal' because a medical couldn't be arranged?

I didn’t want to elaborate on what I have been told but other posters have now mentioned it in regard to the club (one member of staff in particular) has been given the run around by a scammer…. To the tune of 5 figures!!

Not sure where I have stated any ‘fact’? Posted what I have been told, rebutted a couple doubters and corroborated others info…. We all post info on here in good faith (well we Hibs fans do… there are always a few bad actors hiding in our midst) if you don’t like what you read then move on… what’s the point in dragging folk down who are trying to expand conversations?

1. How much do people think clubs pay for a medical. “Scammed out of big money” right enough. Couple of grand at most on the rare chance it actually happened.

2. Why wouldn’t we just use the same company(s) we usually use? It’s not as if we don’t arrange dozens of medicals each year, every year for the last few decades.

3. Even if we were scammed, the deal wouldn’t fall through in early June before the window is even open. A new medical would just be arranged.

4. Do the selling club even arrange the medical? Strikes me as a job for the buying club seeing as they are the ones who an accurate result matters to.

5. Bank fraud protection guarantee.

It’s been said already but I doubt the issue is the amount. £2.5 million is not a bad deal.

The issue will be that the reported 2.5 million probably consistent of to many what if’s that are not guaranteed to happen.

TBH I have no idea, I only regurgitated what I read. I’ll leave it the people who are ITK to speculate.

I like him a lot however it think the ship has sailed in terms of him giving his all for Hibs due to happiness reasons so we need to take the money (once the deal is right) whilst we can.

I think you could possibly be right but who knows what goes on in players heads. There’s a new challenge ahead with new faces, that could possibly be a huge factor in motivating him to want to stay.
That kind of money being offered if true would be difficult to turn down.
