Let’s face it youan is another player who if he stuck to the football and knuckled down would be some force. Unfortunately on social media he doesn’t cover himself in glory and listens to some complete welts talk mince!
It’s not the best environment if you have huffy players around the squad, especially if you are trying build an ethos of hard graft and get the team chasing down opponents.
Youan is undoubtedly talented but if the attitude isn’t there or the focus, the detriment to the squad could be more than the positive contribution of Ellie.

We all know hes leaving and he's obviously been affected by the disgusting abuse from absolute pond life, but aye...social media, sometimes it's good to just put it in the bin for a bit, esp for those in the public eye

The classing abuse a player all game and then they turn round and gesture something at the fans who are then in disbelief that someone would dare do that, how it’s unprofessional etc.

However, the message he responded with was to a fan who was showing him support - why did he do that? Also disrespectful to the club, fellow players and decent fans out there who support him. I find his message to that fan to be really poor in all honesty.

Not sure why you are getting so much stick for posting a sensible point to be honest. Just because it shouldn't be like that doesn't mean it isnt in reality. The message to Youan looks like it comes from a 13 year old who looks a few fries short of a happy meal. Maybe it was his dumb little mates thinking they were funny. Either way the wee lad is going to be in for a shock the next few days and he will hopefully very much regret what has happened.

Interesting article here from the Grimsby vice chairman about the challenge of keeping players away from social media. They are all advised to stay away from it:

Social media aside. The biggest issue with Youan, is that when he’s on the pitch, both teams are more likely to score ! He can be fantastic going forward , although he holds on to the ball too long too often, and from a defensive point of view he either doesn’t track back.. or when he does is liable to try a trick on the edge of his own box and give it away.

exciting going forward, watching from behind the sofa when he’s in our own half. He never really seems to engage with the team when he scores.. just celebrates for himself. He’s an odd one. If someone argued that he’s our most talented footballer, I’d find it difficult to argue… but there is a difference between being talented and being a highly effective team player.

Def looks real going by the screen recording. Looks like there are a couple of people he has responded to similarly.
