I think I need to go and see Hanlon and Stevenson one last time on Sunday. Does anyone know how ticket sale are going? Can you PATG? I know I have done so in the past.

2/3 blocks sold, good progress yesterday/today. Unsure about PATG but they ask you to make a livingston account online and buy from them directly, so I’d imagine they’d be selling them directly on the day

Have you got a link to the away tix? I logged in but could not find any means of buying anything. There is info on the main site for away fans stating; "Tickets can be purchased online ahead of match day through a dedicated web link which we advertise on our web and social media at least a week before kick off." but no sign of a link.
There will be a pod on the day but would prefer to get tickets in advance.

What's the situation with parking at Livi? I noticed there's a few supermarkets nearby, is it okay parking there?

Also, re tickets, I selected specific seats which I'd prefer to sit in so if it's generally a free for all at Livi it would be good to know so I can get there a bit earlier, cheers.

Last few times there I've parked in the first multi-storey you come to at "The Centre". Think it was about £2 if memory serves, few minutes walk through Almondvale Park to the stadium and quick to get away afterwards. Though that was with 3-4,000 Hibees in attendance - you probably won't have to worry about traffic this time around!

Designated seating, unless you're in the vicinity of Block 7.

Thats not true. We sit in our seats, the majority of us do anyway. When I bought our tickets not long after they first went on sale there were only from about the halfway line up toward the current empty seats. The ones going left as you walk in weren't available.

No- its misleading when I went in to buy my ticket yesterday they had two sections available - the next two in the direction of the half way line from section J - L and K and both were nearly sold out - its likely other sections were already sold out - I saw the fans rep KP suggested likely 2500 Hibs fans - I have no idea if that will be the case but tickets sales already are well above just section J. Why clubs make it difficult for fans to choose seats and get good views I never understand - and I get the impression Hibs are just as bad for away fans!

I’ve not been through there for a couple of years, but every time I go I end up thinking it’s little wonder that as a club they’re never far from financial bother… as they seem to manage to make very hard work of situations that should really see their coffers being filled quite nicely.

The way tickets are sold these days is a nightmare from a customer service point of view. Same thing happened at Motherwell the other week - folks holding off waiting for ‘better’ seats, but they don’t open up the better seats until the others have sold.

Same happens at Hampden. And when Posh played at Wembley last month, they opened up the tickets tier by tier. So they didn’t open the next tier until the previous one was 90% full. Sounds logical from a logistics point of view - but Posh had to shift 8,000 tickets at £45+ before they would open the top tier, where tickets were £20. We just about managed it, and then sold a couple of thousand in the last few days before the game. Absolute madness and hundreds of families could have missed out.

Is there any ongoing competition between some clubs as to who can have the muckiest seats?

If there is, then Livi are putting up a good challenge to Killie.

The area we were in was a disgrace. Broken seats all over the place, not replaced or fixed. Some had no back, some ragged broken plastic seat or back. Genuinely a health and safety issue. Cheek of them to charge what they did. Obviously broken by whoever was last there overcrowding it although there was plenty Motherwell graffiti, stickers etc in the area so maybe not one of the gruesome twosome after all…
