You're doing an absolutely splendid job.

Don't listen to all these naysayers moaning about two reviews in close succession, having to sack your third failed managerial appointee in a row, finishing in the bottom 6, exiting the league cup ignominiously, the choice and timing of Technical Director announcement, clearing the stands at Easter Road, delaying changing manager for months after it was obvious it would be necessary, leaving us without a manager going into the close season and with huge amounts of work to be done in the summer window, saddling us with an oversized, mediocre and staggeringly underperforming squad, nurturing a toxic atmosphere within and among the support, bizarrely over-indulging a group of spotty young idiots, making it so much easier for our city rivals to benefit from money-spinning group stage European football, squandering vast sums of money on the wrong players, taking next to no effective action in relation to crap refereeing and poor VAR decisions, demonstrating zero public voice and leadership from the club in general and of course announcing a 'critical' Director of Football position in the immediate aftermath of humiliation from Hearts only to take an age to appoint someone and then only to apparently move that person on within a year.

None of that at all smells of incompetence, short-termism, lack of foresight, poor understanding and experience in football or indeed self-interest at the expense of the club.

You're doing fantastically well.

Worst thing is that post is just scratching the surface.

Yep, things are pretty dire right now. Think it's evident they are learning on the job, which is unfortunate but this is where we are.

Instead of trying to hound them out at every opportunity, how about we just focus on supporting the team and hoping they learn from their mistakes? The Black Knight Group entering the picture could prove to be a pivotal moment, but whatever happens the team could do with our support.

Re the Stevenson and Hanlon thing are we sure that the club never gave the players families a couple of tables each for the game and it’s the case the players needed more snd that’s why they have to pay?

The families are often in the hospitality sections after games etc so would seem a bit odd all of them need to pay.

For the timing of sacking the manager I actually took into consideration the effect it could have had on Lewis and Paul tonight had he still been in charge. Hopefully the appointment of Mackay doesn’t lead to some idiotic reaction from fans

Let’s make it a night to remember for Lewis and Paul

They've been "learning on the job" for 3 years and nearly every single footballing decision they've made has been disastrous. How much time do you think they should be given to get it right?

**** that, they’ve been fantastically well supported, if season ticket sales were around 7-8k for the last couple of seasons they couldn’t have complained IMO.

Currently deciding if I want to give these charlatans another penny whilst they’re still at the club.

I don't know. How long does it take? You can surely see a change in their approach over the years.

What happens if bringing in Mackay along with the investment from the BKG (which apparently Kensell is to thank for) turns out to be a roaring success and we kick on to become a real force in Scottish football again? Would you forgive them for how disastrous their first few years have been?

Unseen Work has summed my feelings up quite nicely on this thread

Not that I expect it to make any difference, I've emailed the club to register my disgust at yesterday's appointment. If anyone would want to do the same, feel free to PM me and I can share the email.

Frightening. Add in signing a player by mistake and playing an ineligible player and having to forfeit a cup game. We're almost like a parody of a football club. It's like an episode of The Office. So, so bad.

Can't get any worse can it?... Onwards and upwards.

Total incompetence. Surprised the focus is on Malky Mackay. It should be on the man who got us into this mess - Ben Kensell.

Should it? Why didn't you mention it before now?
