I think we could do worse. Haven’t seen him mentioned yet.

Would he get me excited about going to the football again? Probably not but do I think he could possibly do a job? Yes I do.

What do my fellow supporters think?

If McInnes wasn't interested, Robinson would probably be the sensible choice.

Ticks a lot of boxes, doesn't exactly set the heart racing.

Is he not the one that banjoed his missus in the street?

Was my choice after LJ was sacked and he's only gone and done even better at St Mirren since.

He was going mental at his own fans recently at Livingston - basically the opposite of the Monty clap.

No thanks from me, he has had one good season with St Mirren who sit 5th. I think we should be aiming a lot higher than him

He also finished 3rd with Motherwell and got them to two cup finals

He has done a good job but hard to tell how he would do if he stepped up to a club that expects top 4. He hasn't actually got many points in finishing 5th and 6th for St Mirren. Decent for the club he currently manages but miles away from Lennon and Ross when they had good season in terms of points gained. Robinson has to be in the frame but he is a risk imo, far less than Monty or Johnson was

Is this what Hibs fans expect? Our finances would dictate a fifth place finish in a season that progresses in line with expectations, although we should be fighting for fourth along wth Aberdeen. Hearts finances are at stage now where their income is the equivalent of 30,000 season tickets so I doubt we'll be seeing a third place for a long time now.

He was found innocent.

So was OJ Simpson

Folk saying we should aim higher than a trusted manager who knows the SPL and has done well with 2 clubs on a lot smaller budget than Hibs…..Jesus wept

If I was him and I was offered the job I would turn it down as he’s better where he is. In Europe aswell

I’d rather give SDG a go over Robinson.

See I took that as the opposite?

Basically he knows the importance of getting results and you can’t really complaint about being sacked because you know if you fail you won’t be given time in not only football, but society
