So, is it after he signs substandard players? Doesn't get rid of players deemed surplus to requirements?
After we drop points at home against (insert team name here)?
Doesn't beat Hearts, The Rangers, or Celtic?
Doesn't make the top 6?

Doesn’t make the top 6 just about does it for the majority of us

Depends if he shows any signs.

Everyone said he needed his own players - 4 league wins since 9th kid December.

Bizarre tactics for half his tenure

Bizarre substitutions

90% of players have regressed under him

No particularly brilliant results/performance’s

Appoint a manager with decent experience, presence and ability to communicate - and who is his own man, not a pushover for the club's leadership and with proper control on the footballing side - and I'd be signed up all the way to after end of next season before considering his record. He doesn't need to transform us overnight, we just need to be able to see tangible signs of improvement and progress.

Appoint another punt and we're back to square one

I think we gave NM far longer because of the previous sackings. The point about the next guy is whether we see improvement, then he gets credit in the bank. Also if we have games where we can actually get excited about what we are seeing. It's not like we are clamouring for trophies, we are just looking to not concede every time an opponent has a shot. The bar is very low at the moment on what we would consider success.

Other than very briefly with Jair, there was no improvement in Hibs players individually and as a team we have slid from 4th chasing 3rd to 9th and glad we don't have face a play off game. There are no games during the season that stand out as a high light from what I can recall other than coming back at tynie to get a 2-2 draw and briefly looking like we could go on to win. A draw is the highlight of the season I recall. So for me NM got plenty of time.

If you think about almost every other team in the league (except maybe livi and st. j) they have had games where their love for their team has been rewarded, but not Hibs, we have been let down time after time this season.

You need credit in the bank to be afforded time. There needs to be signs of something tangible that we’re working towards.

Case in point and I know it was years ago, 4-4 vs Dundee under Mowbray.

4-1 up and drew the game yet fans left excited for what was to come.

We need to stop hiring managers that need to be sacked. Make a good, sensible appointment.

I'd say "when it becomes apparent he's not a great football manager". The managerial performances of Jack Ross, Shaun Maloney and Lee Johnson since being emptied by Hibs doesn't really suggest any glaring errors of judgement (from fans or the club) when it comes to sacking managers. Hiring them on the other hand...

Sensible appointments mean sensible time frames

Stupid risky appointments with no green shoots, the punters can see through it
