I stopped watching last week, got updates from flashscore and my brother, he should have been gone at the split. Get rid of most of this f,n team as well, not good enough.

Should have been gone way before now.
No chance I’m getting a season ticket until he’s gone

Should have sacked him at ht of the St mirren game at ER
Another imposter that the incumbents have appointment

It is getting harder to be positive. But I will try.

Hibs dominated possession initially and had plenty corners. However we didn’t do enough with the possession and we just don’t create chances. Before Aberdeen scored I thought if we did we would go on to win

Defensively weak we give players too much space. Bad goal conceded and we chucked in the towel. Each goal was similar with Aberdeen given acres of space

Aberdeen didn’t win that. Hibs lost it.

Was in the 'Can't afford to offload another manager' camp for long enough but enough is enough. Now I don't think we can afford to keep him.
Watched him today essentially standing with his hands held together behind his back, with little physical sign of anything changing as the game slipped away.
Bunch of substitutions thrown in on a seemingly random basis while we fell apart.
Other folk have been saying for a while that he's just out of his depth, that's absolutely how it looked today.
We could and should have scored first but would we have then gone on to win? Not according to most of our matches this season, while the last minute
loss of a goal was just more of the usual. Apparently the worst performance against Aberdeen at home for 40 years, who are one of the worst Aberdeen teams
I've seen in decades.
I hate saying it but we are not going to improve while he's manager and at this rate we are going to finish where we are now - 9th. The 9th 'best' football
team in Scotland.....
Will be there on Wednesday to say cheerio to Paul & Lewis (& Joelle) but little other reason to be there, except the masochism which keeps me turning
up most of the time anyway.

I'd honestly rather butcher than this guy, our club is a soulless shell of the club I grew up loving and never missing a game.

I don’t see how he can keep his job after today

It’s very similar to Maloney’s time here imo.

The jobs came too early in his career

Really thought he could be the manager we needed in the longer run at long last, bring through young players, get more out of lesser players. But, it’s clear as day now that it is not to be. The board / owners must see this now too.

I must admit also, none of the names put forward in posts here inspire me either. I do think if we go radical, and splashed the cash on the very best manager they could attract, to get the best out of what we have initially, and then improve the standard of player - a manager beyond the usual names here, who have all had up and down careers to date in Scotland - we could fix the club …. but then that’s not easy, and possibly totally infeasible.

Hard to see the route upwards from here … hopefully the new investors find it. They seem to think they can.

He had a terrible squad to work with even though he was a disaster, monty has Maolida, Boyle, Youan and a few others that are better than what we had back then. Honestly he's as bad as it gets.

I remember when someone was trying to call me a Jambo for saying Monty was crap. I made the point that Hearts fans would be wanting him to stay but apparently they would be demanding he was sacked.

Hearts fans will be loving this and will be praying he goes nowhere.

I was called the same. A Jambo troll if I remember rightly. Bizarre.

I truly believe that given the funds and resources available to him, he's the worst manager in my lifetime.

I think it's genuinely terrifying how out of his depth he is.

I wouldn't have him in charge of the youth team.

Totally agree, even worse than Maloney which is saying something.

The moment I knew we’d hired a dud was when he brought on a 16 year old striker whilst 1-0 down to Aberdeen in a cup semi final. Couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

It later came out the board asked him to play more young players. So his insistence in playing the likes of Whittaker etc was him trying to satisfy a target as if he was playing FIFA at home. Unreal.

Aberdeen were worse than us a few months back A Rookie temporary Manager has gradually improved them and results have improved
So he has taken under performing players and found a way to get them playing , not conceding many goals and winning more games than losing
Monty is making us worse
There is no case to keep him imo

I hate sacking managers constantly - but what is the case for keeping him?

I can't think of a player that has improved. I can't see improvements in the defensive issues that have plagued us all season. Seems defiant in his belief that top 6 would have been an achievement.

More strange answers to questions today that I've just seen. Big Brian M for BBC was on the wind-up but did ask him point blank whether the players gave up today and he never dismissed it.

I watched him today twice first half today run after and catch a ball and throw it to a Hibs jersey for a quick throw in, and his own players held onto it and refused.

McInnes would have told the Board to GTF. Which is of course why the current ‘leadership’ would never want anybody that strong minded anywhere near the job.

His interview with Luke Shanley is really worrying, he doesn’t even make sense half the time, just waffling on about shots on target and not having a pre season. I think it really would be best for both parties if we went our separate ways. Seems like a good bloke but the job is too big for him and his coaching team.

He should never have been appointed in the first place actually feel sorry for the guy as he clapped the fans after his team had been hammered 4-0 that took some courage as the fans booed him and the team at the final whistle. Listened to him on the radio coming back and he sounds so down beat, he must realise that he is a failure and has lost the majority of the Hibs support his time is up but will the board react sooner than later, if it’s the latter he starts the new season wastes money and we find ourselves in a relegation dogfight that’s why act now Hibs and put this imposter out of his misery

My immediate thought on seeing the 10 was of Japanese soldiers out in the jungle fighting the war many, many years after it was all over.

I hate myself for it, but sack it is. And I will be the first to admit I thought Montgomery might have been an exciting experiment ... I was wrong.

No more experiments .... It has to be McInnes, no matter what it costs us. I simply can't think of another manager with his CV that we could afford. He has done an admirable job at Killie and he knows this league back to front and inside out.
