Motherwell is midweek, will there be no major acknowledgment of Hanlon and Stevenson on Sunday as it’s likely going to be a much bigger attendance than midweek.
I’d much prefer SoL to be Sunday

There will be a very poor crowd, so it wouldn't be any good

I agree, but will midweek be better?
Announcing a send off, the club shop discount, last weekend game of the season would be better IMO

'Much bigger attendance'? I'd be surprised if the stadium's half full for either game.
Shows how out of touch the club are with fans if they think Sunshine on Leith will play well in such a nothing atmosphere. Could potentially be quite excruciating as its not a short song by any means.

Really hope they dont play SoL in half full ground after a bottom 6 dead rubber. Would rather Lewis & Paul get a standing ovation and the chance to say a few words to the fans on the mic.

A lot of tickets have been shifted for Wednesday, primarily due to it being Lewis and Paul’s farewell I would imagine.

:agree: Would cap off this season perfectly and demonstrate how out of touch they are.

I mind they played Barbie Girl immediately after Dundee United put us down.

SoL is an occasion song. 2nd last game in a crap season is not the time.

I think saying goodbye to Lewis and Paul qualifies as "an occasion". It's not the one we'd like it to be but it's one nonetheless.
I think it is merited - on Wednesday.

Right up there with the decision to parade the League Cup after the Hearts game instead of before kick off..

Unless we're wining a cup, beating Herts or OF in a big game or gaining Euro qualification, I'd rather we don't hear SoL. Leave it for these occasions please.

It will be played. Hibs see fans as cash cows who'll perform like a bunch of performing monkeys when the occasion demands. Enjoy.

That is why it was announced b4 the end of the season they were leaving to try & boost what was going to be a very low attendance.
