I’m a bit disappointed with this.
He’s a smart logical guy with a big passion for Hibs and i’d hoped he would do well and end up managing here one day.

No surprise but it’s tough on Bartley. Difficult job but a club of that size in that league should be in the play offs.

Embarrassed himself with that rubbish about video games. Good player for us, but maybe a coach rather than a manager.

Should get him back in a coaching role
Why? What has he done to merit a coaching role at Hibs.
There is far too much sentiment at our club already which is why Stevenson & Hanlon are still on the payroll.

Can't include them and not Gray and McGregor.

My oversight. Yes, include them as well 100%. Culpable for not being able to improve our players.
Nearly 10 years since we won the cup. We can't keep looking back. All these guys will be remembered fondly, but it's clear they have not contributed much for a number of years.

:hilarious
Me as well.
Suppose that's why I support Hibs and spend most of my time reflecting on our few past glories.

Huzzah, was in the know.. but didn't tell anyone.
Was told by a QotS acquaintance a couple of weeks ago that he was being mutualled after the last game,
possibly returning to Livi if they have any money.
Good guy, always liked him but it's early days, Ian Murray being touted now for instance but he has been doing the hard miles -
Dumbarton/St. Mirren/Airdrie/RR - not too many succeed straight off.

Murray and Bartley are two young coaches we should be keeping tabs on. Although not the beall and endall, having strong connections to the club is not without value either. If either are exceling in the lower leagues they should definitely feature in our list of possible candidates for future vacancies.
If they are excelling then they’ll be on a few clubs radar

Out his depth at Queens. Should have been challenging Falkirk for the title.
Went all Billy Brown with a bizarre interview and never recovered from there. He'll be back to assistant manager next season,

We’ve never signed a left back or centre back good enough to keep them out the team, also you are talking about two absolute dedicated pros, despite conceived ability two players always available for selection and would walk through walls for hibs. These attributes are hard to find in the modern game hence why numerous managers have had to turn to Paul and Lewis. Good or bad love or hate two unquestionable hibs legends. More hibs than most of us will ever be! The disrespect they receive blows my mind. You want better than them, well we bloody need to get much much better at recruiting defenders!

Murray yes I agree but Bartley based on what? There may be some sort of suitable coaching role for him but certainly not in the running for manager unless he can go somewhere else and do a much better job than he has done at Queens.

Obita is clearly currently better than Lewis
