Anyone know the script with the start of the season? Trying to plan holidays. Maybe should just say "stuff it" and go when I want but I know, despite the current malaise, I'll be climbing the walls by mid June.

Is it 13th July for league cup groups? Chat of a tour in Europe before that? Wonder if, like last year, it might be somewhere my family holiday might accidentally end up? ����

Each club in the league cup can request a Saturday off as there are 4 fixtures over five match days. That would mean the 13th / 20th / 27th for the Watford game. My money would be on it being the 27th to fit Watford’s schedule as they will be back a fortnight after us.

Not too hard to get to. Easy reach from Rotterdam and Amsterdam- equidistant from both

Looking forward to the League Cup starting. Utterly fed up this season but hopefully have some renewed optimism come July. Will probably be misplaced optimism, but it’ll be nice for a couple of weeks at least.
