It's slipping away Nick

That was hopeless

Zero strategy, no tactics, lazy, insipid, a loser's performance & a fair result

Nick M seems a nice bloke
But the jobs on the line
So id like to ask him after that performance.....What does HE think happens now?

BBC seemed to suggest he and the players went to talk things through with the fans. Did he say something he shouldn’t have?

From what I can gather from a clip I was sent he was going to just go straight down the tunnel but Marcondes made him come over to face the fans with everyone else

Every single player has let the manager down, from Vente not scoring enough, Rocky making huge errors to goal keepers making blunders!

It’s ****ing unreal how bad the players have been in all of this.

Sorry, poor signal on way down A9.

The going over to the fans caused a bit of a stooshie. It was odd and a bit bizarre. Aye, they needed to acknowledge 600of us spent all day and a lot of money going up there...but to go almost touch tight to the hoardings, on the track, was unwise. Things got heated as some read the situation negatively and Hanlon seemed to be saying to Marcondes that it was unwise.

It was inflammatory and all because he didn't read the room...imagine the reception his post-match "the fans would have been happy at 1-1" got...

All very sorry. There were a lot of unhappy folk.

There's a lot of personality experts on here. Montgomery is a nice guy, Johnson was a snake/cretin etc. Truth is nobody knows what either of them are like. They both talk nonsense in interviews that's for sure.

Yep it was just plain weird. Marcondes ushering NM over to the fans and NM & Rocky clapping robotically at beyond frustrated fans giving it tight. NM did not give the vibes of a man in charge and the team did not give any impression of playing for the manager. Just an absolute shambles

Bizarre that anyone thought that was a good idea. Come over clap and walk away all that was needed. Unlikely to get a constructive debate in those circumstances

I think you can get something from interviews but yeah you’re right - you really need to spend time with someone day to day to know what they are like to work with.

NM certainly comes across as uninspiring though.

I was on my way out but heard a bit of noise so stopped and wandered back over to see what was going on. I thought Montgomery looked a beaten man, totally gone. If he’s going back over on the say so if an on loan player he’s totally lost the plot IMO. That‘a not a manager with any kind of authority.
