With the early bird closing today does anyone know how we are doing sales wise in comparison to previous seasons at this point?
Has the standing section been a particular draw or is it just likely to be block whatever they are going to be called.

Club should be giving them away after the season we have just suffered.
Oops thought I was on my twitter account there.

You can see from this stadium map - https://www.eticketing.co.uk/hibernianfc/EDP/Season/Index/3676?returnUrl=%2Fhibernianfc%2FSeasons%2FSeasons
The FF upper new behind the goals still has loads of seats left.
Need someone to do a dot count but to me looks like sales are down on this season and not surprising as fans are fed up with the product on the pitch.

Sales look not bad to me. I'd think the new FFL standing sales are a bit disappointing.

I’ve not renewed and as of yet won’t. I’m not sure what I am waiting on but I mentioned this to an uncle at the weekend and he said ‘inspiration’.
Agree with that assessment.
Hoping it’ll be a ‘you’ll know when you know’ type of thing.

I actually considered the BTG option but being above block 7 put me right off.

I reckon the standing section will take a while to become popular. But then again that area is almost always empty anyway.

Not that surprising if sales are down a bit considering the season we have had.
What we need is at least one, hopefully two, signings in the 'I can't believe he has signed for us' category. And no matter what their plans for bringing through players as part of their pyramid system, that is something the Black Knights group should be looking to help deliver.
Then you have VAR .......... The SFA practically admitting that there was three ( lets face it, there were more ) wrong decisions that cost Hibs points is unacceptable. The Aberdeen one was bordering on criminal and in some leagues would have led to an investigation into the referee. EG ... does he like a bet. Hibs should have something strong, but constructive, to say following that admission of failures which have probably cost the club millions ... and also cheated the folk who pay to watch it.

Maybe a few fans will try it for a cup game, then maybe shift seats if they like it.

Sure they will sell a few on a 'walk up' basis. A lot of youngsters don't have STs?

We should be higher based on the fact the seat release was before the bottom 6 was confirmed. I wouldn't have renewed yet. With Monty staying i probably wouldn't have renewed at all.

It will be emptier this year for most games imo.

Have to agree but not just because Hibs have been poor, but also because Scottish football at the moment is as unexciting as I can remember it for many years.

As bad as this sounds it’ll be emptier than it should be as plenty decent fans will not want to be lumped in and associated with Block 7

Agreed. If only the club moved quicker when Since 1875 were trying to drive this in the early Lennon days.

100% the club have stayed silent on there behaviour all season and no one in right mind is going to commit to season ticket beside them just so the can stand
Especially when if you get a seat up back of east you can stand anyway

When the safe standing idea was first mooted a number of years back now, the consensus was that this would be rammed every week and one of the most popular areas of the ground to be in.
Can the coolness now for safe standing be laid fully at Block Seven’s doorstep? Or have the club maybe over estimated the safe standing enthusiasm?

Wow. The take up for BTG is brutal. If that doesn't change, it's going to be a big financial hit.

£800 to pay more at a bar and watch a rubbish hibs side.

Think it would have easily sold out if we had a good team to watch.
I’d have been tempted, especially with the payment plan now offered, but we’re currently pish and I hate sitting behind the goal.

absolutely. If the team on the park is performing then everything goes from there. Quicker the board realise this the better for everyone

I think there might be soon if they don't want 30 folk rattling about in a barn.
I know some felt it was good value for money but I never saw it. It might be the going rate but I've never conflated that with good value. The going rate for a pint in the city centre is £6+ but I don't think that represents good value.

Put a team on the park fans turn out, no one will have to worry about getting a ticket at ER next season and thats the worrying factor for me at this stage

As I said previously when the new BTG was launched, nobody round where I sat in the executive seats intimidated that they would be staying in that section.
I thought then and I think now that Hibs have massively over priced that area, it would have cost me an extra £300 to sit in the same seat next season - no danger!

As a pensioner it would have cost me over £500 extra, sat there for years too but times change, bit tough to take & wondered if they were doing the right thing. Maybe with a discount for long time ( old ) supporters who had sat there for so long would have helped them sell some more spaces. Who knows?

I thought Ben Kensell was a corporate genius? His BTG idea surely can’t be on course to be a disaster because he didn’t think placing it near the ultras would put people off?
Can’t wait for the set of financial results from to prove how much of a dab hand he is at sponsorship and corporate thingys us mere football fans know nothing about. Dear Bournemouth/Black Knights football review, give that man another pay rise!

Me and my laddie sat in the row behind you Steve for the past few years, along with my retired pal from Dalkeith. We’ve all committed to the new BTG experience for next year.
My boy is only 20, I’m about to embark on the self employed route and my mate is retired. Money is an absolute necessity, but we’re all committed to giving it a chance and see where it takes us. If it’s rubbish for whatever reason then we’ve tried it. But let’s just see what happens.
Life’s too short for waiting for tomorrow. It might never come 👍🏻

They should have had an option to add BTG as a £50-£100 add on to a regular season ticket, £800 was never realistic.

Apparently there's some sort if agreement that they'll only be wielded when "something happens" .... of course to be effective, it assumes B7 actually do what they've agreed/signed up to.

They're huge, have been behind them elsewhere and they do get in the way a bit.
Assuming they're behind the goals then the goal line/6 yard area would be in line of the posh seats.
Just to add, I don't sit there so no impact on me, was just sharing something that had been discussed previously

I'd imagine it's the £800 price tag putting people off moreso than the chance of a world record flag breaching your view once in a while [emoji38]
I believe folk in the padded seats used to be able to just buy your seat for around £80 quid more than a "normal seat"
Now they are being asked to put in another £320 off on top of that

If your being asked to pay say £20 a game to get I to a bar - some might think that's ok, some might think it's pretty expensive for not alot in return
Based on the uptake there's certainly something stopping they seats being purchased

I already sit in the FF upper and don’t want to move from the seat I’ve had for around 20 years. I’d imagine there’s quite a few in this position who would consider it if we could keep our own seat.

When I was moving from my seat in Block 50 Exec to the West I was told by the Head marketing guy that the capacity for BTG will be 750....there are only 250 seats ( I think) in The Exec Section so he said there will be an option to buy an add on for non exec season ticket holder at £300....he also said that they may sell a "day ticket" if there was capacity available.

Hopefully no more ST’s are sold until we see massive changes throughout the senior positions at the club
Any ST renewals are a direct endorsement of they muppets
Appreciate fans will want to continue to support the club, but currently any renewal is an endorsement of this regime and will unfortunately damage the club further rather than help it
No renewal this summer for me and that’s as a ST holder of over 2 decades
