Honestly we could have scored at least 7. That's the most clear cut chances I can remember in a long while!

Story of the season. Lucky we did score 3 because once again we can’t keep focused for a full match.

I like their goalie, he saved them from a thrashing at ER and today

Nothing lucky about it.

You know what I mean. How many times this season have we had 8 or so shots on target, scored 1 or 2 and then not got the win due to a stoppage time goal from the other team?

Only 27 and a Bulgarian International. Is he worth looking at, or is he only good against Hibs!

Been great for them.
Has one of the highest prevented XG in the league i think.
Not sure how good he is with the ball but a good confident goalie, would be smart business to get him in.

We do miss far too many chances. Been a big part of the failure this season. That combined with daft mistakes. It’s crazy we are in the bottom 6

Couldn't believe the number of times Martin tried to pass instead of shooting a least three in the second half. Thought he played well today

Where is the credit for the manager as that was a resounding and emphatic victory and converting chances isn't his responsibility, it's setting up shapes to defend well and attack with menace that is his bread and butter.

I don't see him as a long term manager who will bring any relative success to Hibs but he got it all right yesterday and particular the game management as Hibs ran down the second half after the 3rd goal.

While it's good to get a decent win is it not just the case that St Johnstone are rank rotten? The fact we lost twice to them this season is one of the reasons we are where we are.

No, it's a case of us playing well and taking our chances

He just doesn't look like he's enjoying his football, usually he's involved in the game winding up opposition, connecting with fans, even on social media he's been quiet.

:faf:

The usual nonsense on here when we win. The opposition were crap.

Only has a year left on his deal, one of the best in the league this season. I'd be happy if we went for him.

He may have a release clause if they go down as well

Don't think trying to dink the goalie shows a lack of confidence. He was always dodgy in the 1v1. No left foot didn't help him with that chance yesterday.

Agree think the fact it was kind of on his left meant him going for a harder finish.

Is he permanently at Saints? Excellent signing for them. Has had a few howlers also

A confident player slides it past with his left. The dink with his right was the wrong choice. Off balance, wrong angle. He has got to use his left there....doesnt even have to be a hard hit, just pass it past him.

Thought he was looking much more like his pre injury tbh. His best game in ages.

St Johnsone are fighting to save themselves from the playoff spot( 1 point in it)It was a very good performance from us.

We didn’t give them a chance to look good. Controlled possession, got the ball into dangerous areas, the early goal stopped them from sitting in as much, and we dominated the midfield.

Boyle on his best day doesn't take that with his left. His left has always been for standing on.

4 goals his entire career according to a website I seen with his left, safe to say he isn't prolific on his left!!

Yeah. No danger he takes that left footed ever imo.
