That's modern football. The majority of managers last a year or 18 months then it starts again. It not necessarily something I like or agree with, but it is what it is. Build, sack, build, sack, repeat. The days of managers seeing a project through are long gone, fans don't want that. It's 2024. We want instant success. Transition happens when instant success doesn't.

Transition is one of the worst phrases used on this site - as it happens far too often.
I would say transition shows signs of progress and change too. We have become a worse team and finished lower in the table so basically a totally failure of a season.

Transition might be alright if you are seeing progress and the start of a plan. So far we’ve transitioned to a worse place than last year, with what was meant to be better resources.

Monty has actually made LJ look a better manager somehow. LJ will be laughing his head off where ever he is now.

We should update the badge to include the word transition somewhere.

The thing is, I think LJ is a better manager. I've struggled with this, but I think I enjoyed the football better under LJ than I did Monty.

I'm 38 in exactly a month. I think we have been in transition for about 33 of those years.

Lee Johnson is a significantly better manager than Montgomery. There’s little doubt about that.
