We left the East Stand after the game yesterday. Our intention was to go to Meadowbank Shopping centre to catch a bus but unfortunately the main gate was closed and about 12 members of security keeping the place secure. The supervisor told us they had to keep some members of block 7 away from the St Johnstone ultras.
We have no problem about the exit being blocked but surely an announcement could have been made inside the ground before the final whistle advising fans that it was closed. It was too late to head around the stadium to take another route. It was touch and go for us to catch the bus home.
We just made the bus station in time.
So come on Hibs give us better communication. We accept the exit being closed for other games but surely not this one.

The exit being blocked for non OF/Hearts games will probably be what ends up turning the support against Cringe 7.

I drove past the St J "Ultras" on Calton Road after the game.

A couple of them had clear facial injuries so looks like there was an altercation somewhere along the way.

I worked in Perth for 30 years, that's just what they look like. 😁

Ultras are right up there with VAR in the list of the worst things about football just now.

Hibs ultras, dressed all in black mindlessly thumping a drum and singing some unknown song.

St J ultras, also dressed all in black mindlessly banging a drum singing the same unknown song.

Going to the football now is akin to being part of some Aztec sacrifice. 90 mins of a drum rhythm.
