Enjoy it, I hope it works out.

Travelled there early in the season and guess what, they were pish.

Don't see it changing somehow and wouldn't waste my hard earned money and time to watch another dollop of a uncommitted and lifeless performance.

The very fact NM is talking about turning it around means he knows he’s toast for me.

Not securing top six will mean we can start afresh with NM gone.

Losing 3/4/5 games after the split might stimulate an even bigger clear out.

Still can’t bring myself to want my team to lose even if I get the thinking.

I’m actually coming round to thinking that even if we were to finish top six and squeeze in to a European place, he might well not be there next year regardless. Think the goalposts have shifted with the investment that it may not be allowed to mask things. Because this season has been dreadful, right from the very first game in Andorra in July.

Can't ever want my team to lose. Will be there next week urging them to win, even if many of them might not in some eyes deserve it. That's because it's our club. Not any temporary custodians of a jersey or blazer.

I also just don't want games against freaking St Johnstone and Ross Co and Livingston again.

Modern day football thinking that has reduced the game to a tedious game of chess most weeks.

Managers/Coaches copying Pep because it's the "right way to play", irrespective of the players at their disposal, are killing the game as a spectacle.

I get to watch my English side Chorley a few times a season (National League North) and what a breath of fresh air it is at times.

No one wants us to lose….people are just getting sick of the same old garbage disguised as something different….wages of managers and scouts go up and for punters….quality on the park has been dreadful…

Hopefully foley will empty everyone behind the scenes and management.

Last throw at the dice to salvage something from the season.

If bottom 6 was confirmed today then a large chunk of the fanbase would be packing away the scarf till next season, and perfectly understandable that would be too. It’s a game with a lot at stake and a lot depending on things elsewhere.

Can’t say I’m buzzing for it at this stage, but come the weekend will be raring to go. Season not quite over yet, for now..

Had Hibs done their job today, we would have been in a great position to finish top 6 and kick on for a European spot. Motherwell would have been out of the equation, now we'll be up against a team who know they have a chance of top 6 themselves. I don't trust this crop of players, along with the current management to win such an important game.

I'm sure we'll hear the usual claptrap in the media that the players are hurting and we'll make it up to the fans, blah, blah, blah...yeah, we've heard it all before guys.

No, Dundee will lose, and it'll be Motherwell, as we'll lose 3-2 after being 2-0 up with five minutes to go.

Their winner will come from the penalty spot (20 minutes into the 5 added minutes) from a VAR decision nobody else in the ground seen.

Montgomery will say "we can all have bad days" and that "we go again".

Hibs then announce a new retail deal and additional hospitality experience.

It's a winnable game and somehow we are still in the mix and say what you want about Montgomery and I think he is a total imposter but a win might save him.

That Motherwell forward bair will ragdoll our clowns at the back.

Having watched the highlights @ Dundee, how Bair outmuscled their defence, it's being optimistic to expect the aptly named Rocky, Fish, & Triantis will be able cope with him, given how they were unable to handle the robust Subideh today.

Would not be surprised if Bair & Motherwell pump us next Saturday & NM comes out with his usual pathetic excuse of possession statistics, ignoring that most of it is ponderous, backwards, sideways and ineffective.

Yes they can. Thing about top 6 is that 5th place will likely get a European spot and that is well within the grasp of the team who is 6th next weekend. Finish 7th or worse and our season is over.

Yesterday we had a great chance of cementing that top 6 place but the charlatans masculading as Hibs players had other ideas.

Remains to be seen - a draw for Dundee on Weds and they can't. A win for Dundee and it doesn't go to the weekend.
Obviously highly likely Rangers will win but stranger things have happened and might be a little flat after the OF derby today.
Best result for us Weds might be a draw - mean we would need the win but would be playing a less motivated Well.

True, but the shortcomings are still there for all to see.

I don't buy into the sentiment of losing being better or not deserving top 6. You finish were you deserve to finish. If, and a big IF, we make top six it will be deserved and likewise if we don't. It's decided over 33 games not this or last weekend.

Goes without saying that regardless of eventual league finish, the season has been pretty pish

I think we’ll win, and here’s why…….

Monty’s philosophy revolves around playing out from the back, tempting the opposition to challenge them further up the field, thus making room for our forwards.
But in Scotland teams tend to ‘sit in’ and let you come at them, being content to block shots and crosses in the box, thus denying our forwards the space Monty’s tactics need.

However in THIS game, Motherwell are going for the 3 points just as hard as we are and will have to open up…and this will suit us.

Unless he does something daft like play Jair from the start, I’m confident of a win…….but please, please USE the space…..play the ball for Yuan to run on to..instead of to his feet…..and get the ball to Boyle more.

And whatever happens..DON’t use Jair as an impact sub.

Looks like me and the wee man will be able to make this now. Just looked at tickets and there's not many left in the lower tier - do they normally open the upper deck once the bottom is full? Only availability right now is in block 1 - is that next to Motherwell's Block 7 equivalent?

Thanks for that - now selling front two rows all lower tier sections plus furthest left section in lower tier now opened - I hadn't realised that section hadn't been released - maybe the furthest right section - nearest to the Motherwell Ultras hadn't been released as well and that might come later. It’s a terrible statistic to come out with. Does he not realise that losing a game with 72% possession is abject failure on his part?

These stats are a load of pish, when the opposition let you have the ball in your own half, and you pass it around between keeper full backs and centre halves, who then give it to Newell, who then gives it to the full backs again to then do it all again is skewing these stats greatly.

When we do eventually go over the halfway line and try and create something, thats when the other team decide to take the ball off us and have a go at our flimsy defending.

It's been like that all season.

A lot of Scottish clubs almost make you feel guilty for showing an interest in attending games so much so that they have to open up more areas than they had maybe hoped to.

Can feel like we’re just being a damn nuisance rather than a welcome customer.
