Don't know which orange lodge he belongs to and don't care but what was the behaviour with the ball at the goals all about? Grabbing it for himself and then throwing it to the 4th official before it was checked back on again.
All very odd.

Seemingly it was to be auctioned off for charity after a goal was scored.

Barry took the ball and put it in a bag beside the var telly. We were very confused.

For charity? Ok, I'm going to sound like a right grouch but there are shirt for sale and now balls after a goal is scored?
Just play the ****ing game. It confused the hell out of most people today.

The “match ball” isn’t really a thing anymore. First time in the game the ball goes out for a throw or goal kick it’s a different ball then used from the one that was kicked off with.
Must be about 20 minimum.
I just assumed the ball was burst and Barry stuck it away so it couldn’t be used again.

Ref wasn't the reason we lost today but my word was he a pain in the tits!! So picky over which blade of grass a throw in or free kick was taking from.
Wish he was the ref away to County the other week

At least 10 "match day" balls are charitably given out at each game when they're subsequently launched into the stands never to be seen in the ground again.

He was the poster boy for officious pr*ck.
On a different topic, once again we have a player with a head knock and he plays on - even puts his hands up to stop the medical team trying to get on. Couldn't wait to stop the game second half when one of theirs went down holding his head.

He then blew his whistle to restart without looking,zHibs went forward only for him to stop play as a number of Saints players were on the touchline. Gave them a free kick later on blew his whistle then saints player picked up the ball and moved it again, surely handball and a free kick to Hibs. Then after the guy who dived ,got treatment and was sent to the touchline he waved him back on whist we were in possession in that part of the pitch. All basic stuff you wouldn't see at a public park
