I have heard that there are still Neanderthals still alive in this area.

Apologies if anyone on here lives in Larkhall.

It's nothing like Govan, it's a sectarian orange enclave where even the swings in the swing park are red, white and blue. Govan has a large Catholic community, my boss is one of them, nothing like Larkhall.I know you were joking though

Didn't ASDA have to change its sign to blue?

That might have been nonsense but the fact that it's believable, speaks volumes about the place.

There was a pub in Larkhall which used to run buses to Rangers games. When they won the league under Souness, every week the pub posted the league table not including Maurice Johnson's goals.

In that pub, Celtic won the league!

Subway and a pharmacy in the town had to change their signage.

no Asda refused. It’s a pathetic little orange area that probably needs ethnically cleaned to enable it to breathe.

I’m a stones throw (literally, I’ve tried a few times) from Larkhall, Neanderthal would be too polite.

The Asda thing isn’t true however the fencing for public parks everywhere else in South Lanarkshire is dark green, including two mins up the road in Ferniegair and maybe five mins the other direction in Stonehouse. In Larkhall it is red, white and blue. I cannot imagine caring what colour park fences are but there you go. Also green the traffic lights have cages on them to prevent them being smashed. ****ing mental.

I think Paul Mcstay was brought up there as a kid, then played his whole career at Celtic.

he must have had some bottle !

eventually moved to Australia with his family… says it all really! Could not get further away from Scotland!

great player btw. Broke my Hibee heart many times….

Better watch they don't dig up the dead Rangers in that excavation
