I know we all know Rangers get treated differently by refs but it was never more obvious than yesterday when 2 of their players got away without getting booked for regulation yellow card challenges.

Both of them absolutely stick on bookings - one on boyle when he was racing away in huns half and the other one late on in our own half when a hun player grabbed someone by the shoulder to stop them. For the second one the ref ignored booking the hun and actually booked Levitt for slipping and catching the hun in the previous passage of play.

These are the type of decisions that get often overlooked but are actually pretty vital in shaping a game.

Yup,

this happens with Celtic a lot too I've noticed.

How triantis was booked for his"foul" is also baffling

Absolutely and over a season have an impact on players missing games. Sterling one on Boyle dear oh dear. The cynical fouls Lundstram gets away with are a joke. The foul at 2 1 he ignored when i think it was Cadden got pushed over at the side of the box was also laughable. As you say it isn’t just the huge decisions and as the stats show we get booked for less fouls than other teams with Rangers surprise get away with more fouls.

Exactly, booked and a penalty against you for jumping to clear a ball into the box, just imagine the fallout if that’s given against Rangers or Celtic?

Given it was a genuine attempt to get the ball, then I thought that shouldn't be a booking?

It creates a two tier system. One team knows they can get away with murder so they can be extra physical, and the other knows that if they as much as brush an opposition player there’s a very good chance they will have a penalty awarded against or end up being sent off.

:agree: The boy that got away with the Boyle trip non booking was then able to make another foul later on which the ref had to book him for. That second foul stopped a Hibs attack and he wouldnt have been able to make the foul if he'd been booked correctly first time round.
