Presuming this is just for their games and ours remain unaffected.

Probably because everyone else is fed up with their away fans, they actually stick together, more than you would imagine .
They need each other .

5% allocation for away fans should be an SPFL rule for all games.

… on the condition that projectiles aren’t thrown, pyrotechnics used or sectarian or racist chanting indulged in.

We haven't even shifted 850 tickets for tomorrow so why would they give us 2500?

If you only get 850 tickets for years then people get used to not going to ibrox and find something else to do.

To be fair there are a noticeable number of posters on here saying they are staying away from away games because of Block 7 - there are underlying reasons just now.

We’re no failing to sell out tomorrow because of Block 7. It’s the anticipation of getting a doing given we’ve not beaten Rangers in the league for 20 odd games. When we were going to Ibrox against a lesser team, with a good chance of getting a result, tickets were gone in minutes.

Add corrupt officials/VAR to the reasons why.

The last game at Ibrox sold out no problem but then we got pumped. That’s why people won’t have bothered coupled with the cup game being so fresh then it’s pretty understandable as to why it’s not sold out at 35 pounds a head. They were only down to the front few rows on the end sections left which won’t have been many tickets at all.

Given that our standard away crowd for most games seems to have averaged out at around 1500 over the last couple of years I think we’d be able to sell that for the away games in Glasgow on a Saturday - more if we were doing well. Neither Celtic or Rangers will have any interest in letting more away fans in for the rest of us though so we’ll never get a standard minimum across the league

Not really brave or stupid but being from Glasgow meant that without a scarf I got away with things.

We often went to the stadium bar after the game - even after a couple of good results there - and there was something perversely satisfying about supping a few pints in amongst all that lot - with ma scarf tucked inside my jacket (tightly that is).

Felt like I was a spy in WW2 🤭

Definitely a factor. I'm working so can't go but I'd probably have given it a miss anyway. It's bad enough through there these days without our own idiots making things worse with their pish.

Without the execution - thankfully- but if my scarf had dropped then who knows 🤭

5%... paltry amount. Remember Celtic used to get whole stand of around 7500 or so not so many years ago at Ibrox

Imagine if us and Hearts had this %.. that would be 900/1100 ish

The option should be there. There's plenty of occasions we would sell 2500 easy for Ibrox. St Mirren, Killie, Hearts and Aberdeen coukd also take that many.
