It’s so sad to see what the EEN / Scotsman have become.The Scotsman was only really a decent paper for a few decades up to the 90s, with a heyday in the 80s. Before then it looks and feels like Exchange and Mart with a hefty lean to a long gone Presbyterian hierarchy. The Edinburgh Evening News was always a curtain twitchers rag. The sports pages were the last thing to be decent in both but that class of football writing disappeared the faster the Internet grew.

I don't miss either of them and rarely look at them at even online.
