Firstly, congratulations young man on making your debut.
Secondly, very well done for how you played when you came on. Energy, composed and very positive on the ball.
Really liked what I saw and most importantly he got himself involved and got a good amount of touches.

High hopes for him. He’s been a regular in the Scotland under age teams

Been following Jacob for a number of years, he's certainly got ability and possibly more importantly he's got desire.
His parents have kept him right which is also important. He's got a bright future.

That’s brilliant. Some of it has been through necessity but it’s great to see pathway from youth to first team being forged.
I think it’s why I’ve been so keen to see Monty stay at the club. In the last two seasons post Jack Ross it’s felt like so much has been absolutely broken at the club and it’ll take time for it all to be fixed.
However you can see things beginning to work - better players, a style of play, when we’re good we’re very easy on the eye, and you can see a plan for youth players to come through.
It’ll take a wider angle approach to get us regularly challenging for third and I trust Monty to deliver that from the burnt cinders of what he took over.

I know you have, and I think you’ve said he’s got a chance of making it, good enough for me
We’ve got a lot of midfielders now, but he’s got to be given a chance

Liked that he came in and actually tried to do something rather than just play it safe and pass the ball to an experienced player 5 yards away, which a lot of young players do when making a debut.

Said in the match thread that he can be pleased with that, yes the game was done and dusted but when he come in he looked confident and composed.
