For anyone coming from the west... there are three way traffic lights at ferry road/inverleith row. Big queue heading east already.

Been like that for a few weeks. Also roadworks as they continue to resurface London Road between Abbeyhill and Meadowbank

Depending on when you intend arriving, at least Holyrood Park will be open.

Google maps is telling me to come in via Queensferry Road, Queen Street, London Road...

53 minutes (22miles), a younger me could cycle in quicker.

Going to leave early (Fife), just in case.

I cycle from my house to ER in 20 mins. By bus or car its about an hour, sometimes more. Edinburgh weekend traffic and ‘road works where noones ever working’ is a joke.

Maybe if everyone supported their local team there wouldn’t be this issue 😉 😂

Will it be when does that happen?

Anyone west of Princes Street should support Hearts.

Livingston dwellers should follow Livi. If you live in East Lothian I'm afraid you're duty bound to support Haddington Athletic or Tranent.

It does raise a genuine point along the supporting your local team debate.

What is the distance and the acceptable level? For instance if you're from Fife or Livingston and have a professional team in local distance, should you support your local team?

The local team stuff is a nonsense. You support who your father supported and that’s it.

Does make the we support our local team chant a bit redundant though.

As a Livingston born Hibby, I would consider Hibs one of the teams local to me. Certainly more local to me than the Huns are to most of their support.

It was just a post on jest, not meant in anyway serious.
