Mother fans group have vote in favour of new investment, even if it resulted in reducing their shareholding to under 50%. Hibs seem to have started a trend.

I think Rangers started the trend of investment, from the tax payer.

Has anyone asked Ann Budge or McKinlay (Hearts CEO) if they are ok with this?

Not really surprised by that. As much as they deny it, Hearts will do the exact same if this model starts working for other teams.

Very true. I know it was an initial five year agreement, but can see him extending that after the Black Knights investment.

Well they did well to rescue their club after what John Boyle did - there is always danger in football it seems

Maybe the ideal is the German model but not sure anyone has carried it off with the same levels of success in the UK yet
