Would absolutely love to cut there allocation especially the Huns think it’s important we help our cause by trying to sell out our stands if possible got a great chance to show them on the 10 march that we can do this and help drown out there horrible fans with there bile :flag:

Is it not just a possibility ?
Thought if it was definitely happening there would be an announcement from Hibs?

The actual headline
Celtic and Rangers allocations could be reduced by Hibs if flare use persists

This is just about BK's reply to a fan's question at the AGM that Brian McLaughlin has run with to create a story. Unfortunate timing as well given the actions from some in the away end last night.

Hopefully but not just for the flares , the rushing of the gates, the overcrowding, intimidation , the vandalism.
Hibs should have done this after the Ron Gordon memorial, spoilt by sectarian signing.

Our fans were out of order last night, hopefully just a few Morons, rather than the whole crowd.

Just been picked-up because of the AGM/chat on here I’m sure. Nothing more.
I doubt we’ll be pushing it too much right now after last night.

Ian Gordon's keen so probably something that will happen down the line after more of these incidents occur, the Union Bears have been rushing the gates at ER for years now, something else that needs sorted.

Last night is almost certainly why they've released this story today

The Sun and Daily Record were reporting on it yesterday long before the game, saw plenty Celtic/Rangers fans giving the usual "they'd go bust without us chat"
BBC would have followed regardless of our fans behaviour last night

It would have been but if we are going to cut allocations for crowd behaviour reasons we need to accept the same thing could happen to us elsewhere.

If we start to see genuine improvements and actually making a decent stab at 3rd/4th next season then the fans will respond. 2 or 3 exciting summer signings would boost seasons and a 'feel-good' summer of football in Germany can see us kicking off to 17/18 crowd levels. Start the season well and we can look at reducing the glasgow numbers.

It was a leading question from a reporter to BK, who gave a non-committal answer.
Pure sensationalism by the press.

I think they got it from a question at the AGM

I personally don’t want to see us go down this road.
Football is nothing without fans.
We’ve all got supporters who are absolute rockets, look no further than the Shankland incident last night.
The only difference between our rockets and the OF is that they have a lot more.

It won’t happen till we can sell more tickets to our own fans. I would be happy to see old firm allocations reduced but cutting derby allocations would ruin the fixture.

So we get less than 2% give them 2% lower tier 400. Nice thought but only ever a reality if we can sell out.

The impression I got from the AGM was that Ian Gordon was willing to take the hit but that other board members were less keen. Ultimately Ian Gordon is calling the shots

When the issue was brought up at the AGM we were reminded the rules do not allow us to reduce away numbers at cup games. SPFL games, however…

Unfortunately, the clowns throwing missiles and flares last night leave the club exposed rather than having the high ground. For so many reasons these morons are damaging our club
