Nick Montgomery provided an update on David Marshall ahead of our cinch Premiership game against Dundee.
The experienced goalkeeper came off with a suspected hamstring injury late on against Aberdeen last weekend, but subsequent scans have revealed positive news regarding his chances of playing on Saturday.
“Marsh was sore for a couple of days, so he had a scan and there was no damage there, so it was more of a cramp,” said Nick Montgomery.
“The physios did the right thing to bring him off against Aberdeen as a precaution. Jojo (Wollacott) came in and was assured during his time on the pitch.
“Marsh has recovered well and been back in training the last couple of days. He’s in contention for tomorrow.”

Rocky Bushiri could also make his first appearances since the winter break after building up his fitness.
“It’s been a good week of training,” said our Head Coach. “Rocky Bushiri came back last week, so it’s been good for him to have a full week of training.
“The boys are in good spirits and we’re looking forward to the game tomorrow.”
