Bit shocked to see so few replies in relation to this. Not that I'm expecting hundreds - that was all done this time last year - but a bit of a shame not many bother to acknowledge it.

Miss his interviews was always keen to talk to the fans and came across as a really decent guy and a gentleman RIP
Still sad to see a man with such energy and drive taken so soon.
Lovely tribute from the club, and it made me think about how rarely we see club owners passing away in situ. The only ones I could think of were Thomson at Dundee Utd, and Jack Walker at Blackburn, although I’m sure there’ll have been others sadly

First time I have seen the footage of the Gordons in the Director's Box when SoL is being sung. Very emotional day and I hope the Gordons remain in the decision making seats at ER for a long time. RIP Ron

R.I.P Ron, a huge loss to Hibernian and to all his loved ones.
It would have been interesting to see how/if Ron would have shaken up the Scottish game if he had been spared. He was only just getting started at Hibs when Illness reared it’s head.

Ron made a huge impression in the short time he was with us. Sadly taken far too soon.
Good to see his family are prepared to see out the plans he had for the Club.
RIP Ron

His enthusiasm for Hibs was absolutely infectious. I'm sure he'd have made us a success. The news a year ago genuinely had me choked up.

Lovely tribute to a great man.
I never met him but on the camera he came across a gentle, warm and decent person and by all accounts the same in the flesh - a breath of fresh air.
I was shocked at his passing and just wish he could come back - sadly we know that it can’t happen but let’s make sure that we never forget him 🥲

Almost a year then since all the Rangers fans booed his picture at the first home game after his death. With his family present. Made me depressed to be human.

The news was a real shock.
The pandemic would have made any rational person question what they had got themselves into, never mind the surrounding madness that is Scottish football, but his infectious enthusiasm remained undimmed.
Let’s all hope Hibs can realise his ambition.
What a lovely tribute that is.
It really is, I feel quite sad having watched it. Lovely man, God bless.

Very touching tribute. Loved his enthusiasm and positive energy, even in the most challenging circumstances Ron led from the front and always made time to speak to fans. We are a poorer club with him not at the helm. I hope we can achieve something of note on the park to honour his legacy.

Almost a year then since all the Rangers fans booed his picture at the first home game after his death. With his family present. Made me depressed to be human.
That was genuinely a sickening moment whent they were singing hello hello over a song to respect a guy recently died. Says everything about that clubs supporters and even more about the medias total silence to it. Imagine if it had been the other way round there would genuinely have been weeks of media horror about it.

His intervention was gratuitous really. I can't remember any particular prior connection to the club for him that made sense, so the fact that he obviously took it to heart so much was all the more surprising.
You don't get involved in a club like Hibs to make money so something must have made him fall for it. I can be a bit of a romantic and I honestly do think that there's something quite beautiful and unique about our strip that catches the eye. And I don't imagine that watching footage of SoL being sung on 21-5-16 at Hampden would harden a heart either. Neither would owning a team in what I think is one of the best cities in the world.
Maybe the support is likeable too, in all our thrawn, long-suffering, self-deprecation.
Anyway, thanks Ron. Much missed.

It was tragic what happened to Ron and for his family. Taken far too soon. He had good intentions for Hibernian FC, and he always seemed genuine, and a good guy. Tom Farmer wouldn't have entrusted the club to Ron, if he wasn't. God Bless you Ron.

For all he was new to Hibs, there's no question how much Hibs meant to him.

I did think Rangers fans could sink any lower.
How wrong was I?
For the short time he was with us there’s no doubt how much it meant to him to be involved at Hibs.
As other have said, there’s no better endorsement than STF.

One of the few people worth listening to, had a great vision for our club. An old fashioned gentleman missed by all.
