Well done in spotting that too, Matty. Nae such crime as “manslaughter” in Scotland, and that ignoramus Warnock should have had that pointed out to him. Fat chance of that with the good old BBC Shortbread’s stable of “journalists”, though.

Really enjoyed listening to that today.

Well done to John for going against the grain regarding Jair. I totally agreed with him and fwiw I think he’s more likely to create something than Vente. Moving Myziane out of position wouldn’t have helped either I don’t think. I also think Jair is being treated quite harshly by some, he’s going through a bit of a bad spell just now, there’s no denying that but it wasn’t that long ago he was unplayable in the first 35 against Motherwell, I know it was the start of January but there’s been a months break since then, I also think he got the assist against Forfar. I suspect the lack of pre-season has caused him to run out of steam but then I’m probably also guilty of making excuses for him, it’s been a tough season for him.

Anyway, I’m waffling now, I just thought fair play to John for not joining in the pile on that’s been very obvious on here and social media.

Aye, I was too harsh and did pull it back a bit when we were talking through it, though I still think Maolida on the left with Vente in the middle gives us more than Jair on the left.

It’s good that the other side of the argument is made I think. However Jair’s good bits have been nothing more than a flash in the pan unfortunately.
