Any recommendations?

Meeting a few people post match next Saturday and ideally wanting to avoid the rugby crowds watching the Scotland game as we are just wanting a seat and a catch up.

So far we have the Guildford and Barony on the list but any other recommendations appreciated.

I’d stick with the 2 you’ve mentioned. Both very good. Was in Guildford before the rangers game. Good selection on draught.

Oxford Bar doesn’t have a tv, if I remember correctly.

The Guildford used to have a TV above the door, although this was years ago and I've not been back in it in probably 10 years.

Not certain but I don't think the Cafe Royal has TVs?

Think you'd be safe in the Abbotsford?

The Barony got a TV in last year, not sure if they still have it but pretty sure they do.

Best pub in town. No TV, no annoying music, no fruit machines. You could be back in the 70s.
Great Guinness too.

Joker and thief on Leith walk never had telly's, though it's been a few years since I was in.

Dunno if its still open tbh.

Fantastic pub, was “the Jenners staff pub” for years spent many a night in there along with half of the shop 😁

Cafe Royal

Cafe Royal certainly used to have a telly up on the wall above the side door but I haven't been in for years.

Cool. I can't remember seeing a TV in the CR.

Must pay more attention.
