Looking online, am glad he has had a hair cut 😁

Never heard of him until today.

But on paper and from his clips, it looks like we’ve got a player that we really have no right to get - it wouldn’t surprise me if he played to his ability if rangers or Celtic took him for free in the summer.

As an added bonus I just watched his interview, he comes across absolutely brilliantly and very humble.

Was on the bench against Liverpool last night in the Premier League. Comes with a good pedigree. A player we could only dream of signing without Foley. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

With this type of signing it will be our current 'star players' who will be on the bench, that in itself will make a huge difference. Some noses may be out of joint but hey ho, it definitely feels a bit more competitive, players are really going to have to earn a place in the midfield and attack. Get the defence sorted and we will be a much stronger proposition.

A few of the current bunch will be calling their agents I suspect. Top work all round, hopefully he lives up to his pedigree.

A great opportunity for him to put himself in the shop window for a contract in the summer. Let's just enjoy him while he's here though , I don't think he'll be anywhere near the SPFL after this loan spell. That won't stop the Daily Rangers putting out a story that he'll be signing for Sevco in the summer in the build up to when we play them at the end of March of course.

Having a quick glance at our potential first eleven, I can't see many lads that would be ugly enough to have signed for Hearts.

Back in the day my teenage sister had posters of Cormack, Marinello and Cropley on her wall.

I wonder if that's still a thing with some of our female supporters? Or has it died a death since 'Greek God' Macgregor retired?

Presumambly Hibs are paying a small portion of his wages though which compensates Bournemouth.

If Bournemouth make him available on a free they'd still have to pay his full wages. So the loan better for them.

Gawd, that gives me nightmares, a few years ago she roughly manhandled my smoked sausage 😳

Get him up to speed quickly, avoid injuries and he could be a huge player for us for the rest of the season.

Excited about these loans. Find loan players that want to be here and it's a great way to shop above ourselves and raise the standard.

So easy to get wrong though if the player's heart isn't in it which is understandable when you see the amount of loans some go through.

Could tell he’s not sharp but what I noticed more than anything was that he seems to have a bit of confidence and attitude about him that the rest don’t.

As soon as he came on to the park he tried to get the rest of them going. And he didn’t hide, he wanted the ball all over the park.

Enjoy him for the next 5 months because there’s no way he’ll stay on beyond the end of the season. There was 3 or 4 times he turned round after pressing expecting someone to be backing him up only to have Lundstrum standing in 20 yards of space and just through his hands up in exasperation. The incident with Megwa, Jeggo and Youan not switching it out to Obita did make me laugh though. Must have been pointing at him for a good 10 seconds telling them to switch it before finally him getting the ball himself and making the pass

To me it was the fact he looked interested and eager that pleased me most. Like a player trying to make a positive first impression as is traditional on a debut. The other two debutants looked like they were a bit disappointed that their career was continuing on a downward spiral. Stubbs had a good record at getting playing back to former glories but I always think when players start regressing more often than not it is terminal. Very early though so who knows they may work out

I felt embarrassed watching the rest of the team try and play with him.
Just before Levitt was substituted, Marcondes was showing him how to pass the ball after Levitt had passed it out of play under no pressure.
A long 5 months ahead for Marcondes. Hoping he can have a similar effect to Eremenko when he played for Killie, he managed to make Conor Sammon a prolific striker.

That's something I've noticed for a long time, when we concede a goal it's like we are beat, hesds drop and no one is showing any signs of motivation to get back into it, it's like we just accept it, we have a team full of losers atm, I mind being 2-0 down to that Greek mob in Europe and watching McGinn gee everyone up, we came back and won and that was just the mentality of that team. We really need some men in the team, even your Hanlon's and Stevenson's that have been here forever and should get it, they are so quiet.

A *** work colleague was in Hospitality last night and told me later that he couldn't belive the atmosphere from the home fans in the stadium after they went one up.

Said at home if they loose a goal, things do go a bit quiet with a bit of grumbling for a few minutes but then the fans start to raise their voices again to drive the team onwards, said with us our fan just seemed damp squibs. :-(

In regards to your last paragraph, that’s been the case for a few years now, barring maybe a couple exceptions. Away teams love coming to ER nowadays, theres literally no intimidation/fear or atmosphere anymore. Even a lot of the big games go flat quickly. Suppose it’s a resemblance of whats been served up on the park as well though.

Easter Road has been a library for a few years. Since Lennon really.

It’s sound for the **** who know their team should be beating (almost) everyone they play at home, and generally that’s how it goes.

We need players in there that grab a game by the scruff of the neck. That gets the fans going.

A few battlers (with quality) could make such a difference to this team and Easter Road.

Happens at every ground now unfortunately. Hearts are 3rd and got booed off at half time on Tuesday, and they are clear 3rd
Fans nowadays aren’t as tolerant as yesterday, probably social media partly to blame

I'd argue social media is probably the sole blame at this point. Hibs fans have always had an element of the support that likes a boo boy, it's become almost unbearable at times recently though.

I know we all have our opinions on rocky but the situation with him last season was the first real eye opener. There's a huge difference between criticism and flat out abuse and personal insults, on social media our vocal fans tend to lean towards the latter more often than not.

Doidge shut his public Insta last year too, as did Newell.

Could see he was watching and almost wanting to coach our team from the sidelines as a sub, then when he came on he was showing everywhere for the ball, directing those around him and showed some nice touches. Looks a natural born leader.

For me, I saw enough in his cameo last night to think he’s light years ahead football IQ wise versus the rest of our team. Enjoy him whilst he’s here.

Agreed. The leadership bit shone through. Taking control, directing operations, always available. And the guy is a player.

Good. I’m glad NM has realised that the team lacks leaders and has addressed that.

Hopefully Amos is a leader and the centre half we get is too.

That could transform the team.
