Didn't look awful for Motherwell and every time I see Barnsley scores he seems to be amongs the goals

Don't think we can afford to take any more punts.
We need at least two experienced starters to slot right into the first team who will improve us from day one.

Devante Cole will be 29 at the end of the season so the dye is cast on his abilities.
These days he is a good quality striker in the English 3rd tier, 30 goals in 70 League appearances in the last season and a half. Would do fine at Hibs but might get a better offer down south.
Barnsley are currently in the play off positions.

Cardiff, Huddersfield & Hull are eyeing him up, they've all got deeper pockets than us. It wouldn't be a punt, it would be significant investment.

But only 6 months left on his contract, so any fee would be better than none, a with a chance to win a cup now and then,and a chance of playing in Europe

No, he scored at the weekend. Has scored an impressive 15 goals in 25 league appearances this season.
