Thought it would be longer than that when he went of on the stretcher. Wonder if it's a Hibs couple of weeks?

Optimistic at best that

He was sat in the stand watching after being stretchered off which was a good sign at least that it wasn’t too serious.

Badly rolled ankle according to Montgomery. It looked a broken leg at the game or something really bad. If it is just a rolled ankle he may only miss a couple of games given the break

Sure? I could've sworn the commnetator said he'd been taken to the hospital.

I saw the clip of him sitting in the stand too, which is good news.

I’m out the country so was watching on a Hibs TV feed.
Assume it was the same feed as Sky TV but then again maybe not. He was definitely back up in the stand afterwards.

Shortly afterwards the commentator said Campbell would be going to the hospital after the match, but was staying to watch the end of the game first.

Don’t want to see anyone injured but he won’t be missed while he’s out.

He was shocking last night. 3 misplaced passes in the first 3 minutes set the tone.

He’s nowhere near good enough to play for Hibs

He cares.

I wish others who perhaps have more natural talent had a similar passion.

Broken tibia is the chat in our group chat, hope this is not the case. Looked a real dull one though…

He was really poor on the ball last night and I personally don't think hes good enough,, but..... I thought the game changed when he went off and their midfield, especially beningamy was far more comfortable after that

Strange, I thought the opposite and Beningime tired badly, especially when Doidge came on and dropped deep and actually provided some much needed impetus and physicality in there. Thought Doidge did well when he came on, wish it had been sooner.

Same, be starting him and Vente against Motherwell.

Doidge does give us much better balance. Interesting people seen it so different. I thought the press on their midfield disappeared for 10 kins when josh went off

Heard its a broken ankle but thats only a rumour. I thought broken something at the game but there may not be a massive difference in healing time anyways. Hope he recovers quickly and fully

What annoyed me most mate was our insisting on going wide at every opportunity and no one taking the ball and driving down the middle into space and committing Rowles and Kent edge of the box and mixing it up. It was very predictable football and allowed Hearts central pairing to stay set - I thought CD did well, particularly with one driving run which did just that and drew a foul in a dangerous area which was wasted.

I agree. Campbell was poor on the ball but I thought he gave the team a better balance when he was on. Felt they took control from that point on

Unfortunate for him, and unfortunate messaging for Monty to suggest it wasnt as bad as feared and it would just be ‘a few’ weeks. Not a massive deal i suppose but it gives an impression of not getting accurate info out. Best to say ‘i dunno’.

Indeed. He's always a good option to have imo as he has a knack for getting into good scoring positions. We don't have too many like that.

At the St Mirren game i was in the hospitality end (work for Digby Brown). the Home support said him and Jair were our best players.

We'll miss Josh imo. At least thankfully the bulk of his time out may be a cup game against lower league opponents and a winter break, but for the games he does miss I think we'll miss him.

I know he isn't everyones cup of tea but I do think we're a better team (currently under this system) with him in it as that number 10 type player as opposed to forcing Vente/Boyle into similar roles.
