Gunman's father found dead earlier today
The police say the gunman was a 24-year-old from a village 21km (13m) outside Prague.
Police also say the suspect's father was found dead earlier today.






Gunman's body found at university faculty
The gunman's "lifeless body" was found at the university, the police president says.
He also confirms that 15 people were killed and 24 were hurt in the attack, and adds that it's thought the shooter was inspired by similar massacres that have taken place abroad.
The mass shooting is not linked to international terrorism, Vit Rakusan, the Czech minister of the interior, told reporters.

I'm wary of the reaction to this question, and I'm aware that the police have discounted the guy having direct links to international terrorism, but... another Islamic Terrorist?

I think the list of far right mass shootings in the west will probably be in excess of those carried out by Islamic extremists, especially if you include the US.

Yeah, that also crossed my mind when reading that he was 'inspired by' mass shootings elsewhere.

There's been quite a few incidents in Europe in the past few years where it was Islamic Terrorism. so that was my first thought, but you're right, it could be anything he's obsessed with online.

I'm guessing right-wing on this. There's been a massive hike in right-wing online propaganda and attacks. My money is on Putin as sponsor.
