Just wanted to say a huge thanks to all the staff and players for their efforts at the Hibs Kids Christmas party today. I was at the mini one with my 4yr old grandson and I'm still trying to bring him back down to earth. Everyone , Santa, the photographer, the ladies handing out posters and hats, sunshine, percy , the guy doing football skills, the balloon guy and face painter and the players as well as Monty and the guys and ladies around the stadium and reception made it very special for the wee man. The players all took so much time with him and his hero Rocky signed his strip. I'm not sure Xmas day will top today for him. Well done Hibs.

Used to love taking my son to these. The Club is so much more than 90mins at the weekend 👏👏👏

Went with my daughter - great wee route through the changing rooms & warm up area then out onto the pitch. As much time as you needed to get pictures & take it in

Then up across the main stand into the hospitality suite where they all got Santa hats & an autograph poster with all the players to sign under their picture.

They were all dotted around the lounge & happy to pose for pics and have a few words - great for the kids (and the parents).

Then downstairs for a snack bag & a Hibs bag.

Great wee night & well organised as the OP said.

I remember taking my son many years ago when it was held at the Jolly Giant. Mixu was there talking to all the kids just a few weeks after his hat trick in the 6-2 derby. My son is in his early 30’s now but it just feels like yesterday.

Happy memories for the kids. 👏🇳🇬

Took my wee one along who is 3. she's not showing much interest in football or Hibs so far but she really enjoyed the afternoon (as did her dad) Well done to all the staff who put the event on, very well ran.

Same as everyone above my daughter (11) absolutely loved it, was delighted to get her poster signed by so many players. She came home high as a kite.

Class mate.

I took my daughter who’s four. I wished she had as much excitement as your wee guy but she doesn’t. That said, she did enjoy it. I enjoyed getting into the changing room for the first time and getting to walk out the tunnel. My mind was thinking what it would actually be like with ER rammed and noisy, to run out onto the pitch would be class. I actually also thought it doesn’t look *that* daunting but I suppose if there was actually 20K in there, it would be pretty daunting haha.

I also made her get a photo with LS. She wasn’t bothered but I thought I’d never forgive myself if I never got her to get one. Hopefully she (or her choldren if she has any) look at that one day and say ‘I can’t believe I got a photo with the first Hibs player to ever win two cups with Hibs’.

Anyway, it was a good party. Better than last year with the extra touches.

I wanted to say to Monty to get that lot battered next week, but never got the chance. Hopefully someone did!
