The last time my partner came to ER with me was for the Maltese refs game - nil nil, nothing created, Nish up front on his own having a nightmare (before being replaced by David Stephens) and it was freezing cold. Might have been Yogi’s last game.

Was that against St Johnstone as well?

I remember running late for a game against them, would have been around that time, arrived in my seat just a few seconds after Hanlon (I think) had hit the bar.

Was the only thing of note to happen in the game. That was pretty brutal as well.

It was, yeah.

I think there's something about St Johnstone that brings the worst out in us, we've had a few howlers against them over the years.

It's a fairly special blend that stops people going to games forever and has folk suggesting that Craig Levein might be a better shout to be our manager.

I've been to some real shockers, few of them worst than Saturday's performance. 2 that stand out are a game against Dundee at ER when Simon Stainrod was Dundee player manager, and a cup game against Airdrie when we got beat 2-0, but there are plenty of others as I'm sure some of the older posters will recall.
