They are generally quiet because when we attack they are asked to be inside and deep with our full backs creating the width. If I’m thinking of ‘wingers’ that work well in this kind of system it’s be more Drey Wright than Youan. I’m sure it can work done well but it’s not what I think of when promised attacking, exciting football.

Having the 2 up top is a waste if the balls into them are garbage and with very little support from midfield. Jair and Youan are 2 attacking forward players and are totally wasted sitting so deep just to help out the midfield, either buy proper wide midfielders or change tactics to get them more involved. Boyle is trying to do too much on his own up top, far more dangerous coming from out wide. So far a real disjointed half and a poor performance, we seem to be getting outplayed by this crappy team.

This ain't half another slog on the back of last week - two weeks of trying to keep the ball effectively in rotten conditions, and it's far FAR too slow.

Until we're actually consistently trying to pass between the lines it'll be much of the same, particularly away from home. Too static, rubbish movement, not enough options on the ball to move at speed. The moments like Jair's goal at Dundee are few and far between, and - although the results have been perfectly good - you're really hard pushed to be attending a game with confidence that Hibs are going to play well.

Not really. I can only remember a header wide early doors that Fish had done enough with. A long range trundled that if Marshall hadn’t dealt with would have been in the howler category and a shot dragged well wide.

This dreadful and it was dreadful last weekend against Livingston as well, we might’ve been getting results but tactically we are all over the place.

Players clearly struggling to adopt playing it out from the back all the time and I fear a manager who doesn’t know how to do anything else.

Passing is sloppy as hell and we seem to have no cutting edge going forward.

We were more exciting going forward under LJ but worse at the back. I'll get slaughtered for this but actually thought we were more entertaining under him than Montgomery. For clarity I thought LJ had to go.
