Latter seems like a choice taken given the very limited ability of tickets and the desire for there not to be folk in the surrounding areas trying to cop a view without tickets.
Less sure about the first though

Don't think it's anything to do with tickets. They showed Darvel v Aberdeen last season and there was zero chance of any issues there.
A local rivalry with a big club away against a plucky underdog was always going to be chosen.

As opposed to what else?
Doesn't matter the game, any match involving Rangers and Celtic will pull in more numbers than anything else. After that, Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen will pull in more numbers than anything else.
Have Premier/Via-Play picked their games? Dumbarton v Rangers is a dead cert, Celtics home game been picked?
3pm on the Saturday would be great for us.

Both have small chances of a giant killing act. I quite fancy Clyde to pull it off and repeat their antics of 2006 when they humbled the mighty Keane Lennon and Hartson.

Clyde are absolutely brutal. They have won one league game all season and are heading for the relegation play off. If they ended up dropping out the league set up I wouldn't be at all surprised. I'd be stunned if they laid a glove on Aberdeen, as poor as the latter may be. I've seen them 3 times this season and they are by far and away the worst team in league Two.
I'd say there is more chance of Spartans causing an upset and there is almost zero chance of that.

I've never seen them and I'm not an expert, but the Ian McCall factor will likely see them improve. There's been far bigger upsets including the one I mentioned.

Funnier things have happened though, or should I say absolutely hilarious things have happened with Brora pumping hearts and Darvel pumping Aberdeen 🤣
