I think he's been overall a fairly lacklustre signing considering what type of keeper he had been even up to fairly recently before signing for us. But I'd argue for the last 6 or so games he's been a lot closer to that level of goalkeeper we thought we would get.

Nope, those were my thoughts too. Some excellent saves but a couple of times poor distribution led to Aberdeen chances, but overall it's hard to criticise him today.

He is being asked to take more responsibility ball at his feet. It will take time and all about percentages - even when you watch the best do this - I am thinking Allison at Liverpool - they still have a few scary moments each week.

I was thinking that myself today. Looks like a different player from earlier this season. Midway through the second half he responded to a back pass with a Pele like shuffle that took the sheep player right out the game! Well deserved MoM today.

I get the impression that there is no rush from management to make any major goalkeeping changes any time soon.
