Got to say (and its been said before on here!) his analysis is great.

Really breaks things down which makes it an enjoyable watch.

We slate then when it goes wrong, but credit to Neil and the BBC for this aspect of their commentary.

I really can’t take to him, but I was surprised at his comments about us last night, thought he was pretty complimentary and very balanced.

Enjoyed the analysis last night.

Glad they were enthusiastic about the build up to Jair's goal. Shows they are watching the same game we are!

Credit where credits due.

Insightful

Like McCann as a pundit

He had some good comments but his analysis of Millers sending off was comical. He stated the Dundee lads legs were beginning to buckle and when he felt a touch he went down. So in short he was admitting it was a dive but then went on to say it was a yellow card?

Agreed. For a Jambun he's decent. I sense that he has realised that to avoid being the pundit they roll out just for games involving the Stickies and pseudo-Stickies, he needs to be more neutral in his analysis.
But why no chat about the penalty claim on Miller? Had that been Tavernier or Boyce we'd have had 5 mins on why it should have been a penalty.
Rhetorical question actually. We all know why.

He's decent, talks sense. He's at East Mains a lot for Development and 18s games and is an agent to some of our players.

Same struggle with him most of the time but was good last night and also his analysis v Killie. Next thing will be him trying to say Nick has copied his style of play and him trying to take the credit. :greengrin

Yes that bit was nonsensical

Perfectly reasonable request of a show think with us they think they have ticked a box when showing it in the highlights the agenda then is when they refuse to cover it when discussing the game after.

Not really, you often hear those remarks, players go down all the time with even the slightest touch, especially if their motoring a bit, not hard to lose balance. Quiet simple, if you don't want to give away fouls or penalties, keep your hands to yourself, Miller himself lost us the semi recently, going down far easier than the Dundee lad did yesterday, which was a far better example of an attempted con.

I thought he said both yellows were soft.

It's often mystified me how football players go down at the slightest touch as if they have been simultaneously hit by half a dozen snipers yet rugby players get hammered even harder in tackles, sometimes by two or more opponents at once, and still manage to stay on their feet a lot of the time.

I'm sure he said first yellow was not a booking

Good pundit, I also like Stewart as a pundit too, controversial, I know!

If you don't go down, you don't get a free kick/pen. Rangers' pen today was stonewall, if he'd stayed on his feet he wouldn't have got it. You have to go down, it's not the player's fault.

But the issue is the same level of scrutiny is not applied to other teams. 68 games without any infringement similar to today against Rangers 🙄

I thought he said both yellows were soft.

It was his bizarre explanation of Becks legs getting tired so he had to go down or something similar :greengrin
