quick question - anyone know how the sections are numbered at dundee? can see that sections 2,3,4 are on sale, prefer to get middle sections midway up if possible but can't see anything online that says how its laid out? not a deal breaker for going, just prefer to get best seats if I can!
cheers

The stands behind each goal are indentical, so if you go the tickets section of the Dundee FC website you can get the home end up. Rows A-Y, so M will be the middle row, seat number 75-80 will be dead centre.

There are 6 sections in total so sections 3&4 will be your central ones

Last few times there’s not been PATG at Dens IIRC.

I was up in Dundee on Sunday, The Phoenix is a cracking old school pub, as is Caws Bar, cheap as chips too.

The Phoenix is great, but not exactly handy for Dens Park.

Early forecast looks good, dry and sunny. It was predicting shorts and t-shirts 4 days before the last derby at Tynecastle, though.

Re parking. Apparently Dundee council have introduced match day restrictions on the residential streets around Dens and Tannadice between 3 and 5 pm (£100 fine).
You now need to park a bit further away.

The V&A is effectively a very large cafeteria with some smaller gallery space incorporated into the building.
For fine dining though, Dundee doesn’t appear to have any Michelin Star restaurants of its own, but Collinson’s in Broughty Ferry not too far from the city.
Maybe doesn’t lend itself to a boozy day out on train mind you, but ultimately, any trip to Dundee is going to feature mainly pies

Daughter is at Uni in Dundee we went www.the-bach.com (https://www.bing.com/alink/link?url=https%3a%2f%2fwww.the-bach.com%2f&source=serp-local&h=2cZ3ZLD001WgoTgLycO4gdmB%2bCtYysRnBtNipMxfKug%3d&p=lw_wftpt&ig=192A8E4852FB4BF6A83935BAA1A3537C&ypid=YN1029x17687960032895429317), also Empire state coffee shop which does some great sandwiches and coffee on 28, Whitehall Crescent, Dundee DD1 4AY not far away from the V&A. You will be in centre of town so will not be short of options. Dundee are going well just 3 wins in 4.

This international break has gone so slow for my liking. Important game on Saturday in one which we should be favourites but will need to turn up on the day.
You would expect Hearts and St Mirren to be winning both their games.

Section 1 is half the size of 2, 3 & 4, so it's probably about 1,750.

Is there any possibility of obtaining tickets at Dens on Saturday?
I was meant to be attending another engagement, but it's now been cancelled.
I live and work (working today) in Motherwell, so completely impractical for me to collect tickets from Easter Road.
Once again, it's an utter nonsense that you can't just obtain a ticket digitally (especially in this day and age) or purchase on the day (when there must be 1000+ empty seats).

Yep. Don't go to ER, spoke to the ticket office and they have none. Received an initial 1500 that sold out, got 300 more and they've sold out. Awaiting conformation off buying on the day from Dundee.

Meanwhile there are about 1200 unsold seats in the Hibs end. Clubs who rely on ticket money so much act so stupidly.

Pretty poor that Dundee and Hibs still don’t just sell tickets online and you just get an email or e-ticket, most other clubs do this and it’s so much better than having to pick up paper tickets

Supporter Information can be found here - https://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/article/supporter-info-dundee-a
COACH PARKING
Free Away Coach parking will be available in Neish Street (same as for Tannadice), and is a short walk from Dens Park.
CAR PARKING
Car parking is limited in the area around the stadium, and new restrictions are in place since we last visited Dundee (see attached in article above). These new restrictions will be rigorously enforced and the penalty fee is £100.
TICKETING & ACCESSING STADIUM
Hibernian Supporters will be housed in The Bob Shankly Stand, behind the goal, accessing via turnstiles 33 to 36.
Our initial allocation of 1,700 tickets sold out from the Hibernian Ticket Hub!
However, there will be pay-at-the-gate tickets available to purchase at Den Park. Please note these tickets will be able to purchase with cash only and supporters are encouraged to arrive early to purchase their tickets.
The game kicks off at 3:00pm, turnstiles will open at 2:00pm and you are advised to arrive early to avoid any queues at the turnstiles.
Please note: within the stadium catering is cash only and there are no smoking pass-outs at halftime.
