View Full Version : Electric Razor Recommendations

After 40 odd years of wet shaving my face and chin skin have decided to become a little less supple! So I want to try out an electric razor.

I've got a pretty feeble growth, I shave twice a week, every other day on holiday (as if anyone would notice 😆). There's no fancy bits to trim or edge.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks.

I’ve always found Phillips oneblade good.

Thanks guys.

Are you using the Original (£20ish) or the Pro (£70ish)?

I'm a bit gobsmacked this is getting such good reviews! It's an early Christmas prezzy and I was expecting Santa to pay upwards of £150!

I’ve got both, and the quality of shave is very similar imo. The big difference is the charge time (faster on the pro), there’s a battery percentage indicator on the pro vs a green/red led on the original, and the pro has a beard trimmer attachment that has a wider range of lengths, whereas the original comes with a couple of detachable heads with fixed length.

Either are very good :aok:

Just bought the phillips 5000 series yesterday, down to £100 from £200 in argos black friday deals, very good so far much better than my old one that was starting to rip my face to shreds. :greengrin

Thanks everyone.

I've gone for the Phillips One Blade pro. Mrs Jackie said just order it as part of your Christmas so I ordered a 850g bar of Cadburys Dairy Milk as well 😆

CDM was 10% off.
