Disappointed with this, I prefer matches post Christmas than pre Christmas

It does spread our games out better though – otherwise we'd have a two-week gap in mid December and then the usual Xmas/new year pile up.

4 Away games in a row in December.

It’s a good point

Might not suit some fans who have made plans for that day but from a football point of view this is a good move.

Good news, Motherwell play Livi 30th Dec, we play Motherwell 3 days later.

That doesn't make for an easy December.

One more home game before Christmas. Mental.

Yep, that's just ridiculous.

I think we've only got 3 home games between now and February.

Selfishly delighted as I was just asked to photograph the Edinburgh Glasgow Rugby and now I can do that without missing a game. I think it suits us in terms of our schedule too but if I wasn't working it would have made a great excuse to get out the house at that time of year

Four home games. Aberdeen, Hearts, Motherwell and Rangers. Possibly a Scottish Cup tie as well depending on draw.

Think it makes sense to have better spacing between games at a busy time of the year

When you look at the fixtures spread out changing this does make good sense.
With Rangers game now cancelled makes much more sense to move this fixtures and spread the load over Christmas and New Year.
Good that it's been done quickly so I can change the calendar in the kitchen before the misses notices. There is no danger I could have justified the 30th so Club gets my support and the St J's my cash. :flag:

Fixtures were:

9/12 Livi (a)
23/12 Ross Co (a)
27/12 Hearts (h)
30/12 St Johnstone (a)
2/1 Motherwell (h)

So makes sense to move 1 of the 4 games in 11 days into the middle of the 2 week gap.

Our next Saturday home game is on 3rd February!

The SPFL seem to be trying really hard to find new and imaginative ways of making an arse of the fixture scheduling year on year. Home one week and away the next?!? BORING! Thank you SPFL for keeping me on my toes so as I never know if I'm coming or going re the Hibees at ER!
