While the disappointment still engulfs many of us, at least we are spared some pretty hefty expense the week before Christmas.

£50 an adult ticket

Eye watering

Aberdeen will struggle to sell their tickets at those prices, even with the reduced allocation.

No 50/50 split then. **** getting the north stand.

£44 for standard South Stand seats, £39 for East/West Stand.

I think the non 50/50 split will be the way ahead now for Cup Finals against the OF, certainly League Cup Finals anyway. Can't see anybody else getting a 50/50 split against them from now on, the precedent as been set.

At these prices I wouldn’t bother going just watch on the telly, total rip off for a diddy cup final.

That’s crazy prices, if that’s the way there going for a trip to Hampden I’ve made my last journey I’m not paying that, final or not

Well worth it for a showpiece occasion at a state of the art 21st century stadium.

Which clearly this is not.

They’ve got a nerve charging that to watch a game of football with the sort of sight lines that such a large proportion of the seats actually have.

When they get that last bit of Parkhead redeveloped and it removes the restricted view bits in the corners, it’s probably not a wildly ridiculous price for a cup final somewhere like there.

What are Aberdeen saying about the split?

Need the money to buy some straight lines for the VAR machine

I think a main motivation for moving away from the 50/50 split is that it allows them to charge a lot more for tickets. The hard-core supporter will pay these prices, the occasional 'fan' who just turns up for Cup finals won't. Rangers/Celtic don't rely on these people to fill Hampden like Hibs, Hearts, Aberdeen do so will always easily sell as many tickets as they are given regardless of price.

Nae such thing as a diddy cup to me.

We can only realistically win the Scottish or League cups. Nowt diddy about winning the League Cup in my opinion.
