We won there last season with a bit of a makeshift front three of Henderson (when he came on and set the winner up), Youan and Hoppe (who came on for McKirdy).

Doidge and Youan should be capable of providing a threat, would have bigger worries than them being up top. Hopefully Vente is fit anyway.

I’m not overly optimistic but we can go there and get something from the game IMO.

I think you're right to point this out.

Whilst results haven't been great, there have been positive aspects from most of the performances and the players all seem to be fully bought into the manager. These are all good things and things that can give you reasons for optimism that our fortunes may shortly improve.

It's different to our chums over the road, who you'd probably anticipate going the other way if rumours are to be believed.

Possibly so. I’d play Newell in a 3, but his form has been declining from the early season high IMO. Levitt is more forward thinking than Newell, again IMO, so I’d give him a chance alongside Jeggo. I think it just highlights that the suggestion we have a really good squad is a bit of a myth.

A good starting 11 when everyone is fit is arguably true albeit the goalkeeper, centre of defence and balance in midfield leave much to be desired but on our day we should be better than most. When we have to reach a bit deeper though then it's really stretched.

There are things in the team tonight that make sense, Campbell as a false 9 as an example, but that's not a good team on the park tonight by any stretch. If we walk away with 3 points tonight then it's one hell of an achievement.

You really can't blame the gaffer for the team he is picking. Being forced to something with the something he's got springs to mind.
