1973 without any doubt Seven (7) at the pigsty, crowd at the start was around 36,000, by half time it was around 20,000 ha ha ha ha ha. (0-5)
Then another one at the pigsty don’t remember what year but Paddy Stanton scored wi a header at the School end, almost caused a huge crush wi people trying to get back in.
The 6-2 game I was not around these shores.

The natural order one has to get an honourable mention just for shoving it right up leevain funny as.

As I wasn’t at the 0-7 game, my best memory was the millennium 0-3 win

There was a NYD win a few days after a 7-0 defeat at ibrox which was quite enjoyable.

Gotta be 2-2.

I loved the replay of that. The feeling of dominance and expectation that day , for a 1-0, I haven’t felt against hearts much.

0-7

There had been a few boring stalemate 0-0’s in the run up to this and we had just dispatched Ayr United 8-1 Aberdeen 3-2 and won the League Cup against one of the best teams in Europe

Was supremely confident by the manner of our victories you just knew one team was going to catch it

Everyone was in a good mood even although Hearts should have been 2-0 up in the first five minutes you just knew we would win

We had just joined the EEC and Hibs had to win by five clear goals to go top of the Scottish First Division

Sheer footballing delight absolute seventh heaven

The green machine just kept going forwards

Zorro!

I think that The Scottish Cup win is the only game that can trump the euphoria in the stadium when the final whistle went in the Gordon Hunter game at Tynecastle.

In terms of a derby match I was at, it’s got to be the last minute Garry O’Connor winner in 2003 when we were down to 10.

The 6-2 is my favourite derby to watch over and over. Latapy’s goal is out of this world.

Big ups to John O'Neil's last minute equaliser.

"You'll never beat Sauzee".

Was alive, but not old enough, for 7-0, so it's 6-2 for me.

In terms of domination the 3-1 was the peak for me. Had a brief feeling we were really going to do them after the third, before the penalty effectively killed the game.

2-2 will always win for me though just because of the manner of the comeback and the overall significance. I was right in front of all four goals too.

2 at Tyne stick out, horgan one a few years back, my laddie who was about 7 at the time first and only visit. Weather was a bit like this as well iirc.

But one for me was the 'casper' game. Only given half the stand, they were going to win, 5,6,7 0 etc. When deek scored that pen I ended up about 8 rows down on the floor with some random guy trying to pull me up but fell on me as well. Proper carnage. I didn't even know one of them cretins had tried to swing at Deek till I got home. Also staying in livi at the time getting on the bus at mcdonalds Gorgie to livi was full of them, still amazed I made it off unscathed 😂

Apart from the obvious ones (0-7 & 6-2), 2 ‘best of the rest’ derby memories for me, are Pat Stanton’s last minute equaliser at Tynie in 1975 and who can forget Garry O’Connors last minute winner at ER in 2003!!

Remember a pleasing routine comfortable 3-0 victory against the Hearts at Easter Road on 1st January 1976

The Tornadoes were starting to change personnel the late Bobby Smith opened the scoring followed by an Arthur Duncan double

Hibs : McArthur Brownlie Spalding Stanton Barry and Blackley Edwards Bremner Harper Smith and Duncan

The Casper derby when we won 1-0 Deeks penalty. I looked at the team sheet that night and expected them to put 4 or 5 past us. We had so many injuries so it was a severely weakened hibs team.

I mean, the obvious ones aside (6-2 etc) there are a couple that stick with me...

The 2-2 in 2016. That comeback was absolutely pivotal in history being made. I could not get the McGinn song out my head for days as it was on a loop most of the game. I knew we'd win the replay and so did they.

The 81% game en route to winning the League Cup on 07. Rob Jones and his winner. We battered them 1-0.

The Natural Order game and Levein being absolutely put in his place. A dominant performance by a very good Hibs side with so many characters
